Great point, and thank you for pointing it out to some.
Great coaches do build their structure around the players and their abilities, just like Coach Fran will do at A&M.
The half-court game built around Yao with discipline for Steve and Cat will suit me just fine.

See that smirk? Just wait for him to ditch you guys in a couple years.

He's a wanted man in Alabama.

Oh and this guy sucks too:

Now, back to the topic; JVG will be absolutely unbelievable with Francis. He will be a great mentor for him. I can't wait to see what he will draw up for Yao. I'm quite excited.

I figured you were from Alabama. Tide fans just can't get over it. He's at a better place. But I'm not getting on Clutchcity to talk college football.
The whole reason i mentioned Fran was he has stated over and over that he will tailor his offense around the players (Reggie, Taylor, etc.) Hopefully Van Gundy will do the same, which I feel strongly that he will.
    Gig 'em and Roll Tide.

Carrol Dawson - "Hi, Jeff...welcome to Houston. I hope you had a good look around town. So, how does $4.0m sound to you?"

Translation: At this point, we really want Van Gundy. But after talking with Less, we're pretty sure he wants $5m so maybe he'll split the difference with us and sign for $4.5m.

If not, we'll offer MD $3.0m and he'll probably take $3.5m. That's surely more than the Hawks will offer.

Jeff Van Gundy: "CD, I had a good look around but more importantly I really think Houston is in a great position to make a move in the WC over the next few years. This looks like a great opportunity for the right coach. Let me talk with my agent and I'll get back to you by Monday at the latest."

Translation: Man, now I see why those guys lost Brown. They want to double my TNT salary but for 10x the workload. I wonder if Orenstein (JVG's agent) has a good grasp on how TNT handles pay raises and extentions and what teams will likely have vacancies next year?

Oh man, that was funny. Wait a second, that doesn't sound so absurd. Money is probably going to be the deciding factor now.
