Something needs to be done. You cannot lose to the Nets and stay put.

the only change needed is a new coach that disciplines those guys. mchale will get mad now but can't hid his smile after they get a win.

remember last year when Josh smith joined the team and had trouble initially fitting in with the starting unit? Guess what solved the problem... moving him the bench to lead the reserve!

Crazy idea here... perhaps try Lawson with the backups, since A: hes better with the ball in his hands, B: The Rockets as a team were tremendous last year with Harden, Bev, Ariza, Howard in the starting lineup. Hell as long as Harden was in the starting unit the Rockets were great offensively. C: The Rockets had one of the worst offense last season w/o Harden in the lineup. D: So perhaps bring Lawson of the bench, thereby improving the units w/o Harden AND allowing Lawson to play to his strengths.

Sure. Let me finish wretching in to a toilet first. For ***** sake. How can you beat the clips on the road in the 2nd of a b2b then come home and get bent over by the nets. That's the 2nd time these muffin heads have looked past a team. Only immature jagaloons do that. You would think these were all 1st year guys.

    this is on the coach.

the players played hard, but the offense asks them to stand around and watch the guy with the ball go around a pick. its predictable and dumb.

    where is the off-ball movement?

the players also played decent defense but they gave up 20 o-rebs. mchale sticks with the small lineup.

les better override morey and fire this coach!

Agree smoothie. Any smart NBA fan has seen enough. Blind homerism blinds many but enough is enough.

They have no real PF right now. That's a big problem.

Last year they had 3 solid PF's... right now they barely have 1.

It hurts the defense and rebounding big time... and it's not a coincidence that those are the two biggest problems right now.

Can't wait for Dmo to come back. The scary part is if they wait too long since this team is highly capablenof losing any given night.

I agree ... How about not overreacting after every loss and crying apocalypse? That would be a change.

Look... The team has gotten off to a bizzare start, but a team that makes a major change eight games in when the team has actually shown signs in half their wins, is a team with stupid leadership.

Obviously this team needs some action to take place but that action might be as simple as a lineup change up or the team getting back to the basics defensively with a stretch of good practices. D-mo coming back could turn things around with a real PF, or even putting Jones or Harrell in the starting lineup could make a big difference. Maybe put Ariza on the bench and keep starting Thornton...

I dunno but this is the changes you try not something stupid like firing the coach or a major trade.

Lol, welcome to Hou sports!! The only change is the season or waiting for the stars/planets/galaxies to align... I'm just glad we're losing now instead of when it matters, hopefully it gets the team interested in winning. If not it's pretty much expected :) Hey at least the Rockets have a better outlook than the texans!

You really just watched that game and thought the problem was the offense?

Not the fact that your team has Dwight freaking Howard and you just gave up over 100 points to one of the worst offensive teams of the modern NBA? How many offensive rebounds did they get again?

Look the offense is what it is, and has its own set of issues but it's far from my biggest concern.

Is it on McHale though ... Sure. Him and Bickerstaff have fallen backwards on the stellar job they did last year of preparing the team to play defense. This year that side of the court is an afterthought. That's on everyone including the coaches.
