Portland has a terrible history of injuries, have they not learned? No way do you give max to 2 injury prone players who were key players on a team you already beat in the first round when they were healthy.
if portland really wants dew-white, all they have to do is promise him post lessons from soviet legend, Sabonis. Tell him, he will get unlimited post ups.
after seeing what mozgov, parsons, and other people got, I'm almost inclined to think Jeremy Lin gave the Nets a pretty good deal. This new cap is crazy.
How in the ever living hell is Parsons worth ****ing $95 million???!? He's hurt last 2 years and never did much other than 15ppg.... He Isn't some super specialist or an all-star... I know the new TV deal is great but this is stupid, it's going to break the NBA. Unless that TV deal is all that... No fans are going to be paying crazy money to watch Parsons make 94 million (as face of the franchise). League is a bit watered down and Parsons can't even crack the top 25... I wonder if a lockout will occur, haha. Don't get me wrong, LeBron, Durant, and the top guys in the league are worth it and more, but Parsons... GTFO. I think if he can get the money then go for it, but all these teams are getting desperate to be signing deals like this. Parsons wasn't worth the last deal and is now making even more super crazy money. I guess my point is if tv deal covers it great, but if ticket prices/merch get outrageous for a lotto team (not saying grizzlies are), it will suck. Now LeBron/Durant type guys deserve it, I mean they shouldn't be cap restricted, but mediocre talent... Uh no
