While I'm inclined to agree with this word for word, I also have to acknowledge that I didn't foresee Chandler making the jump he made from year 1 to year 2 or year 2 to year 3 either.

So while I have a hard time believing he hasn't reached his ceiling, I've already been wrong about that twice. Seems pretty possible that I could be wrong a few more times. And if he continues to improve at this rate, he will be an All-Star.

I thought this for a long time as well. But I can't remember the last time I remember a Rocket player improve so much over the course of one season. Parson is getting very good at a lot of different things.

Parson's numbers aren't changing, but you look at what he is doing, he's taking shots against tough defenses and scoring when the team needs it. He is creating shots, and that is huge! I think he will make the all-star game next year barring injury.

I am a huge fan of Parsons, having supported him from the time we picked him. That said, I do NOT think he will be a star. He lacks the dribbling ability and sheer athleticism to blow by most in a 1v1 situation. He is NOT an elite defender that can shut down good players and slow down great players. I am not sure if he is a great shooter or a smart, good shooter who takes efficient shot though. He relies more on throwing players off balance IE people rushing him when he catches a pump and him throwing out his pump fake. The guy basically does a lot of things good, very little actually great. He does seem to be one of our strongest mentally though and the team simply plays differently with him on the court.

It was Parsons fault Harris had a hand on it before Brooks touched it but we wouldn't EVEN be in the game without Parsons today. Good old Mr. Consistent gave us every shot we needed down the stretch along with Lin.

He's an excellent complimentary player, but he cannot create for himself. We saw that against Memphis.

However I do think he can be a 3rd best player on a championship team.

Ok I was a little harsh b/c there were alot of players to blame for today's last minute meltdown and Parsons had a small role in achieving that.

Parsons threw a terrible pass but as long as the Rockets win I'm happy.

Chandler is great, one of those rare players that doesn't need the ball in his hands to be effective...

Eh, he does well when he slashes off the pass, but I wouldn't call that creating. He doesn't really break down the defense well, he's mostly a system player.

By the way, it wasn't just one play, against the Grizzlies outside of those 10 threes he didn't do anything.

The Rockets should milk him while he's cheap and then sell high.

I hope they don't make the same mistake the Texans did with Arian Foster.

That's what I use to think. But his game has evolved. He broke down the defense multiple times and scored on floaters or moves.

Guy is going to be a star. The only reason he might not get the full consideration is because there's a guy named Durant who is all-world. But after him, in the WC at least, he's up there with anyone.
