I disagree. WB and Wall are better than Lowry? Neither of those guys can hit the broadside of a barn, and both Wall and Curry are defensive liabilities. A lot of the stuff which Lowry does isn't recorded on the stat sheet, he is an extremely pesky defender, and he bullies the weaker pgs all the time, causing them to lose stamina as they try to plow through him. He's also a good rebounder for his position, and of course his playmaking and ability to hit open 3s were spot on last season.

The only ones sure to be better than him are Rondo, Paul and D-will, basically the franchise pgs of the league. Rose is a bit of an anomaly, I'm not sure how good he really is because his team seems to play better when he sits on the bench, and in the playoffs he shot something ridiculous like 20%.

Some of yall are really underrating Lowry's athleticism.

You don't see that from some of these other guys like Cp3...

Athleticism and talent are very subjective...

If you factor in strength to the equation, I'm not so sure that Lowry isn't in the same ballpark. He is the Chuck Hayes of PG's. His center of gravity is amazing... He does things that I have seen very, very few PG's do. For instance, I would MUCH rather have Lowry as an NFL runningback compared to Deron and CP3, and it isn't close. His athleticism is much more difficult to define.

Chandler is one of those players were, every year a player pr two rockets up the draft board right before the draft, and he was one of them. There was some talk that he could sneak in the 1st round. Imo he's a player that could help an elite team. I think he was the wrong chose for us since we were already stacked at that position and we have too many holes for him to help us.

Exactly...and I wouldn't dismiss his dunking ability either. His hands are higher than the rim on both of those blocks.

    Blocks were really LebronESQUE
Guy is an athlete and up till now has been healthy. He is not a flashy player but could develop into a Chauncey Lite which is close to elite IMHO.

I think with the sure signing of Parson, a lucky team may find BUD in a package.

How are we stacked at SF? We have a rookie that half the Rockets fans call a PF and a DD-Jinx playing the position. The only less talented position on the team was center. And there weren't exactly tons of quality centers by pick 38.

No jinx! Remember he started out anti-Bud as he was then still riding the Von Wafer wagon.

The jinx or curse whatever you call it is a myth. The man just shows a lot of love to overachievers who are really underdogs.

DD, I suggest you stay away from fantasy lol.

Man, I love Lowry, and he definitely started to truly take over games late last year, but come on. Didn't you see how Chris Paul dragged that broken down Hornets team to 6 games against the Lakers last year in the playoffs while playing 42 minutes/night? Give credit where credit is due; he's the best point in the game, and if he can get 5 more years out of his knee, he'll be a certain first-ballot hall-of-famer.

Evaluating 2011 second round draft "mistakes" now is like saying "did Morey screw up by picking 14 in the powerball instead of 43?" before the lottery is even held.

I agree. While I am still high on Budinger, and think he's a solid player, the Rockets arent in a place where they can say they are "set" at any positions. There isnt one player on this team that has a right to not be challenged for their roster spot in training camp or early on in the season.

Budinger, Willams and Lee sliding in thre from time to time. You can't tell me that Parsons could beat out any of those guys for minutes. Parsons could be a nice roation plart for a long time, but I would have rather Morey pick a boom or bust player with the 38th since he had already 2 other picks. But history has shown that Morey tends to not pick high risk, high reward type of guys and that cost us in 2008 when he picked Dorsey over Deandre Jordan setting us back some and we are still searching for a big man. But anways the high risk guys in this years rookie class Morey skipped on was Tyler and Josh Selby. He could be the next Gilbert Areas.

For those of you wondering why not Tyler.... Watch this video.

Maybe he just mailed it in on this workout with the Wizards, but if he had workouts like this one its not hard to imagine why he fell so far in the draft. He looks like a D-League lifer to me.

Is Chandler Parsons related to Tyson or Wilson Chandler?

I suspect that Parsons will play most of the next season in the D league. There will not be minutes on the big team, unless Morey starts trading.

BTW, let us not forget that Tyler was a bench player on a Japanese D league team last year. Thus, making Tyler precisely the player that Morey would never draft.
