Someone's still pissed that he was wrong about Morris.

o, 9 million interesting, should of said 9.99 million. Here is an articel that will, if you read, change your perspective and outlook on the future of Chandler Parsons.

Through March 10, Parsons had cost $1,165 per unit of production. The average cost of a unit of production this season is $13,938. Based on that price, Parsons' production this season has been worth $10.6 million. He's making $888,000. So he's currently worth roughly $10 million more than he's being paid. That's huge. That's like a free All-Star, almost.

That was based on March 10th, not even looking at the increase of production he provided in the playoffs. Its also at 10 million with out adding his contract which should make it a higher number in the first place, NOT only that, but to say its lower then ten or ten, is suggesting that Chandler Parsons will not be better next season. Sorry to inform, hes going to be better.

here is something else I found interesting

Patrick Beverley, Rockets, $2,229/unit, worth $1.7 million, being paid $281,000[/I]

1. James Harden, Rockets, worth $17 million, being paid $5.8 million, $11.7 million surplus

2. Stephen Curry, Warriors, worth $13.9 million, being paid $3.9 million, $9.9 million surplus

3. Chandler Parsons, Rockets, worth $10.6 million, being paid $888,000, $9.7 million surplus

So are you saying you'd rather have Varejao over Kobe?

Kyle Lowry over Deron Williams?

You'd rather have Nene over Carmelo?

Mike Conley over Stephen Curry?

If your answer to every one of those questions is NO, then maybe you should just admit that the ranking system is junk. You can beguile people with all kinds of advanced stats and mathematical mumbo jumbo... but in the end, you still won't convince them that water isn't wet.

I know this mathematical mumbo jumbo is going a little over your head, so just bear with me for a second. We have this wacky concept called "sample size", which is just a smarty pants way of saying one season is probably not enough to tell the whole story.

You see, Verajao only played 25 games last year. And in those 25 games he played like... well, a Dwight Howard. Go check his boxscores yourself if you don't believe me, you will have little problem understanding those.

So yes, for those 25 games I would definitely take him over Kobe. In fact, if he played like those 25 games his entire career, he'd be one of the best of all time.

Deron Williams has historically been one of the best PGs in the NBA, according to RAPM! Unfortunately the past 2 seasons he forgot how to play defense. Would I take Lowry over him? First you got to tell me if this is the real Deron Williams or if he can revert back to his old self. Only God knows that answer.

Disregarding age and injuries I would take Nene over Carmelo. Of course we can't disregard age and injuries in real life. Curry is a comparable player to Conley. I'm sure most would disagree. Fine.

"Beguile"? That's a big word. I wonder what I would be getting out of such treachery?

Water is wet, indeed.

The earth is also flat.

And we are the center of the Universe.

Maybe you just aren't ready for this mathematical mumbo jumbo quite yet.

Defino was the key in winning some of our earlier games. After his elbow injury, which occurred on Feb 5th, he regressed. Parsons, on the other hand, had one of the worst RAMPs but made a huge progress in latter part of the season.

The RAMP's of rotational players by the end of January:

Name Off. xRAPM Def. xRAPM
James Harden 5.16 -0.64
Omer Asik -1.34 4.87
Carlos Delfino 2.04 0.57
Jeremy Lin 1.33 0.68
Greg Smith -0.02 -1.07
Marcus Morris -0.36 -1.53
Toney Douglas 0.01 -2.26
C. Parsons -1.86 -0.41
P. Patterson -1.93 -1.33
