Off course not now. They are still a step below. I did say a bit more improvement. You must have missed that part. I didn't say it was easy either. They have been developing and exceeding expectations.

I guess, my view differs from yours in that I see the glass as half full instead of half empty.

Among Western Conference Small Forwards, according to Hollinger stats, Parsons is 3rd in PER, 2nd in VA and 2nd in EWA, all while being 7th in USG. Those three stats: PER, VA and EWA are game changing stats for teams. The only other WC SF who is above Parsons in all three stats is Durant, who ranks first in USG. So you can see that Parsons is doing a hell of a job with the time he has with the ball when in scoring situations.

This is all academic since All Star teams are historically Guard-Forward-Center, not by specific position, and the WC is loaded at PF All-Star level talent that far outstrips Parsons in the above categories. If he's ranked in a pool of WC Forwards, he doesn't make the cut.

But still, it's an exhibition and he's a good, exciting player to watch on a good, exciting team. If he continues to grow as a player and we continue to win, I think he has a shot in a year or two.

Last season Lin and Chandler were so close on and off court, but everything changed this season, is there something going on between them? I also noticed lin fans began to dislike Pasons this season, does anyone knows?

There is nothing going on. They are both just competing to become the third option on the Rockets offense. Healthy competition is good.
