classless responses in the other thread. He got a a great offer, and took it. It may be with the most hated team in the league, but Parsons put in work for us at a great contract. He also helped recruit Dwight here.

If Morey made him a RFA to get market value, thats on him.

 

Agreed with the money part. No way can you fault him for taking a max deal. He'll never get one outside of these circumstances.

Beverley/PG on vet min (Jameer?)
Harden/Troy Daniels
Parsons/Covington
Bosh/Jones or DMo
Howard/The CAMBY man (lol, jk-vet min center)

I have a feeling that its because they're both certain the rockets won't match. If thats the case, you can't really tell your new owner to f*** off lol no matter how much/if you hate him.

no way we would match the offer, even if we miss out on all the FAs. There is still another year of FA in 2015. By matching Parson's contract would guarantee we have no room for a Big3, unless Parson turns into that 3rd player which I just dont see it happening.

 

No. We cannot match parsons and get bosh too. Signing parsons would be like choosing him as the 3rd person in the big 3.

 

I guess he's making up for being severely underpaid the last few years. Congrats to him on his new contract.
