His three ball hasn't been falling at all this season. He's lost confidence in his shooting, so he instead puts the ball on the floor.
Thats exactly what I say, his 3 isn't falling, you still have to be productive. The 3 ball will come back.
Exactly. The problem isn't the fake, but that he doesn't have a plan as to what he'll do after the fake. The foul is there to take half the time, but he doesn't draw it enough. I feel like he spent too much time this summer working on fundamentals and not enough on play sequences. He's got to start putting moves together at this point in his career. He should start by developing a hook, for when he gets stuck in the paint, or even to post up smaller guys.
I like when he utilizes it when there's a hard close out on him. I cringe when he does it when the player is 5 feet away from him after the pump fake. You find confidence in your shot after seeing it go through the hoop. You don't find confidence in your shot by doubting your ability to knock it down.

I knew Chandler had a pump fake problem when he faked from the Wells Fargo Logo tonight. CP had some big defensive stops though, couple of clutch blocks.
There's nothing really wrong with him pump faking but it was hilarious when he did it from about 6 feet behind the 3pt line.
