Dude is a baller; he just makes things happen….often at the precisely right time. I would take him over "in his prime" Battier all day long.

A lot of people were hating on his pump fakes earlier in the season, but it has been very effective for him. He's making a lot more plays off the dribble this year.

Jones is starting to use it, too. Looks even weirder for him since his release is one-handed.

My favorite part to his game is the catch and go.

It doesn't give the defense time to react and he gets fouled every time he does this.

Each year I've said to myself that Parsons has plateaued, but he keeps getting better (offensively). I still hate how he leans back when he shoots a 3, but if he's around 40% I can't complain too much.

I'm impressed Parsons can make so many shots without an arc.

next summer i think he should try to add something of a post game.

when he had stephenson on his back at the elbow, there were so many options for him. a guy with his vision and nightly size advantage would do damage.

perhaps dream can give him a few pointers. i really think this would take his game to another level. he could anchor lineups without james and dwight easily for 10-15 minutes a game.

same here. You usually don't see shooters with his range that shoot that well with NO arc... him and lin are day and night when it comes to shot arc

As long as it works, I don't care how ugly or funny something looks. Weapons are weapons because the work.

I hated it earlier in the season because I thought it was messing up his shot. Now that he is shooting well, the pump fake is pretty sick. He really sells it. It's like McHale's pump fake except from the 3pt line.

At the start of the season all he did was pumpfake cause his shot wasnt fallen and they knew he was in a slump no one was falling for it then

Wasn't their a thread bashing his pump fake?

I have always been jealous of anyone who can continuously demand respect on their jumper to the point of getting people off the ground

His pump fakes were aweful earlier in the season. His 3s weren't falling, so he used pump fakes to get inside, but the opponent didn't buy it.

Now his 3s are falling, his pump fakes become much more effective. And his timing on pump fakes are better too.

    Yup.

I actually have over 50 clips of Parsons getting defenders to bite on his shotfake just from this season and had planned on putting video of it out there by now, but I haven't found any fitting music to along with it yet and I don't like it just with play-by-play.

Edit: Nvm. Don't mean to hijack this thread. Pointless asking you guys for suggestions when y'all have no video to go off. Gotta find something myself.

If you can cut out the lyrics or find the instrumental version, that Remember song by Fort Minor has a pretty catchy beat.
