What the heck. You guys are having the possibility of snow, while it hasn't snowed at all for about a month here in Minnesota? How annoying.
In before blame it on global warming I remember last year it snowed for a bit, hope we get more then that this year!
Same here in Colorado. I am going skiing this weekend, but apparently is has not snowed the the mountains in weeks. Its snowing outside in the city now, hopefully the mountains get some.
After that 05 white Christmas, I swear some of the weather men on the local news' here in Houston were saying it wouldn't snow here for another 50 years... It's pretty odd though here in San Antonio, we aren't getting any snow yet we'll be getting rain (possibly sleet) and be as cold as Houston on Friday according to the weather.
Looking good. If temps are cold enough early enough then we can see some real snow here Friday evening.
Houston averages 1 snow (that accumulates) once every 4 years, don't know why a weather guy would say that. This would already be the 2nd snow in Houston since the white Christmas. It would be the 1st time that Houston has had snow in consecutive seasons. It has snowed more than once in a single season, last time 1985.
Actually I think on average it gets colder in Minnesota than it does in Ottawa. International Falls, MN is always setting temperature records for North America. That is practically Canada though.
Ha.. tables have turned... San Antonio is likely to get snow now... mmmmm more snow than even Houston.
precip chances for friday have gone up to 80% for houston from 30% yesterday. if houston hits the forecast low it will break the record low for the date by one degree (from 1990)
