Missed the snow in Nacogdoches, here in Saudi now where it's ~75 degrees during the day. lol.

Would have loved to see the snow, my girl said it was coming down pretty heavy when she left town.

I don't mind a little snow around Christmas time, but you can keep that arctic tundra you live in.

Had a white Christmas in Plano as a result of a good 6-7 hours of snow on Christmas Eve.

Most of it melted today, but we had about 2-3 inches by last night late.

The worst part of it is always the ice it leaves the morning(s) after the meltdown. No one here seems to know how to drive on it.

Looking very likely that areas just north of Houston (College Station, Huntsville) will get significant snow accumulations tomorrow afternoon and tomorrow evening, possibly 4-6 inches. It's also looking more likely that we'll see snow in Houston.

Would be a nice way to bookend one of the coldest winters in Houston's history. On December 4th Houston had its earliest snow accumulation on record. If there is accumulating snow at the airport Tuesday this would be the 2nd latest accumulating snow in a season.

(good lord, that map is TOO BIG!!!)

    This is from USATODAY:

In Texas accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are forecast for Dallas and Austin with less than an inch expected in San Antonio. Between Dallas and Austin is where the heaviest accumulations should fall with 3 to 7 inches expected.

The snow should move into West Texas overnight and reach the I-35 corridor during the morning commute Tuesday. It should all be over by early evening in the Lone Star State.

The news in Austin is saying rain and snow in the morning, becoming just snow after 10am. I'll believe it when I see it!
