That makes some sense. I wonder if they'll have experts come in and testify to that effect? I don't think it is something either side can do much to flesh out, I'd doubt. I think it'd be up to the jury's experience with anal sex, as strange as that would be.

The prosecution could counter that by saying she initially consented and then changed her mind, but that would weaken the case considerably.

Anyway, I have a feeling that this whole angle is actually just a made-up rumor that will soon be forgotten when the actual case is presented. I guess we'll see.

When your life is on the line, things change. I dont think Kobe would have threatened to kill her if she did not "open" up the anus sphincter.

Plus, prison rapes dont occur very easily. Its not an easy task. The anus of the guy is literally ripped.

But as far as making the case easier for Kobe...anal sex, even when it's done with both partners wanting it, can be very painful and can leave visible evidence of something having been there. It's not as often you'd see bleeding or scars or something around the vaginal area, even during rough sex. But for anal (especially if it were her first time) it can happen.

So at this point it basically comes down to a he-said/she-said kind of thing. And it's innocent until proven guilty, so I seriously doubt he'll go down for this.
