Being that my company has season tickets at Old Trafford, I think it is easy to see whom I support.

I'm just saying that most American soccer fans have a little knowledge of the Premiership, but don't follow La Liga, Serie A, and the Bundesliga, thus they're going to pick teams from England, since they know more about them.

You're painting that picture with a pretty broad stroke. You can't lump everyone in a group just because they're this or that. You can say that people might tend to pick EPL teams because they have more exposure in the US than other European clubs and you would be not far off the truth, but just saying something that general just shows how little you know about american soccer fans.

Isn't that what I said? Americans know more about the Premiership than other European leagues, what's wrong with that? I follwow European soccer pretty closely, and have alot of friends who do as well, but very few of them no much about La Liga and Serie A, while all of them could literally name the starting XI for most of the top Premiership teams.

First you said american soccer fans have little knowledge of the EPL and then you inferred that american soccer fans have even less knowledge of Continental european soccer. That is what I have a problem with.
In your second post, the point of reference you use for this assumption is the knowledge of your friends in regard to euro soccer.
Give the rest of the US soccer fans a little latitude why don't ya.

    Thanks.

plcmts17, all I'm saying is that Americans know more about the Premiership than other European leagues, no more no less. I don't know how that can be debated.
