I've been wanting to drag the Texans into D&D
You start the thread and I'll go Carrophobic on you!

while we are on the de-rail

If you pass on Vince Young because David Carr is your QB for the future
And you draft Brady Quinn the very next year because David Carr isn't your QB for the future

You have no business drafting in the NFL!

    lol

    Carrosexuals...

I have images of mid-twentyish white guys with crew cuts hanging around Houston while throwing themselves down to the ground every once in a while. Of course, none of them can drive because their right arm is constantly flailing about making driving impossible. Not to mentin, every once in a while they'd drive down the wrong street and absolutely lose any sesne of direction. Woudl be good for movie theaters though, every showing of the movie "Happy Feet" would be sold out because Carrosexuals think it's an autobiography.

I'm sorry you feel that way. And I'm sorry if I offended you.

Seems like there is no way to get the train back on the tracks at this point. I think both of us hold some responsibility for our inability to discuss this with civility. Hopefully we can have better debates in the future.

    Again, I'm sorry.

Oh, and so I'm not aiding too much in the derailing of this thread: David Byrne is my God and Fear of Music is my Bible.

I don't read the D&D much these days, but I gather that this is the umpteenth thread on this topic. So, I decided just to read through the responses to see if the "flavor" of this topic would remain the same and I saw this post:

Great post - couldn't have said it better myself. [sarcasm]I like how this post by tigermission1 got pretty much glossed over in this thread.[/sarcasm]

It's a dreadful post and idea. How do you disagree with a gay person? That doesn't make any sense. The mindset alone will lead to eventual persecution and oppression.

The problem is that this simply isn't true, at least for most people who disagree with homosexuality. Manny, tiger, others who disagree, may I ask you a question? Have you ever or would you vote against the right for homosexuals to marry? How about anti-discrimination bills that disallow the firing of homosexuals solely because of their sexuality? I would imagine the vast majority of the anti-homosexual camp would be against both options, and this DOES persecute homosexuals. You don't have to physically attack homosexuals to persecute them.

    Christ people!

It's not about accepting a sexual orientation; it's about accepting a person as an equal.

How hard is that to understand?
