Hakeem did always seem to struggle against Mark Eaton, so there is a chance he would also struggle against Yao, just like Amare did.
Chad is an idiot and this is not debateable... Centers: Shaq, Yao, Wallace... that's it..the best in the league right now... Nuff Said... Carry on...
Amare really does remind me of the young Akeem on offense.. slowly developing a J/fadeaway, just like akeem was in his 2nd/3rd year. It would show up here and there, but Dream was also a huge dunk/rebound machine. And a pissed off one. Watch tapes of '85 Akeem and this year's Amare and tell me they don't look realllllly similar. Future...I don't think Amare has the footwork to do anything close to what Olajuwon later accomplished and became. And as someone else stated, Amare isn't what Olajuwon was (even back then) defensively. Still, cool to see the similarities that do exist. --on the thread, Amare is the 3rd best C behind Duncan and Shaq. If you can play the 5 spot consistently, you can be called a C...and those guys can. I don't think Garnett could for a whole game, much less a season (though yes, I think he is the best player in the L).
