    I know right?

    Who didn't know already?

    It was fairly obvious.

I'd debate that all day. For example, Shane's leaping ability is measured in millimeters unlike the very athletic Bud; Kobe had no problem scoring 30+ on him on multiple occasions; Shane is 10 years older than Bud; Shane is a great teammate and very smart -- but so is Bud. Lastly, Bud is a superior scorer and passer.

Shane is a very expensive backup. All in all, as much as I like his intelligence and spirit, I wish Morey would have traded him rather than Ariza (unless management suspected another stress failure in Trevor's feet).

LOL at all the people who think this trade sucked for us.

WE FINALLY GET A QUALITY PURE SHOOTING GUARD TO BACK UP MARTIN INSTEAD OF RELYING ON BUDINGER OR BROOKS TO PLAY EXTENDED MINUTES!

Guys, Courtney Lee is the REAL deal!

    Stats don't lie!

True but we can't think about that now. He's gone and we must move forward.

I forgot Point #5: the overall deal also improves both Indy and Nets making them more viable candidates to avoid Lotto - and send Knicks to Jersey in May; thus potentially increasing value of '11 pick.

I know there are probably some match ups we can play on occasion, but Martin is too weak to guard many 2guards...how would he guard 3s? This is silly.

Right? Morey didn't "squeeze" this out nor was it open for question. The Rox traded more salary than they took back=trade exception. They've gotten several of these over the years, and to my knowledge they never use them.

TE is nothing if you don't use it.

    12ppg. 1apg. 33% three point shooter.

    Epic fail.

This is just another fail on a long list of fails piling up for Morey.

Its so sad so many grown men on this board ride his nuts like a bunch of pre-pubescent female Justin Beiber fans.

I swear, the blind allegiance of some of you people is sickening. His biggest "SPLASH" of this free agency was signing a 40 year old backup center, and you people praised him as the messiah, as though he signed Lebron, Bosh AND DWade.

    Lets keep it real, folks.

I don't get it...his stats look pretty unimpressive to me.

    33% three point shooting
    12 points per game
2 Free throw attempts per game.

What am I missing? He had a very underwhelming and inconsistent year. How are some people calling him a "stud?"

Alot of moves by Morey. I hope hey have a end result some day soon before my life ends. I am thinking its slowly moving in that direction and its only a matter of time. If its a long chess game with Morey? Its a long drawn out plan. I think he is moving in that direction to get someone here. That process is very intricate obviously..

Someone coorect me if I'm wrong on the rules. I thought we couldn't combined a player and a TPE in a trade. So if we wanted to get anyone of those players (all whose contracts far exceed $6 million) we cannot combined anyone with the TPE to get them.

Look at his stats when he played with a dominant big man in Dho.

But if you work out his decrease in playing time, his stats will be even worse...I don't really see that as very impressive...even for a bench player.

He won't be getting big minutes with Yao.

He'll spend most of the time on the court with the dominant big man Brad Miller.
