SF3 will be fine. I believe he will realize how important the bench will be to the overall success of the team. I don't believe it will be problem since the season is so long and I believe everyone will have their chance to shine on this team.

Yeah....a 6'3 guard with a career avg of 18.5ppg 6rpg and 6apg is totally overrated.

If Francis goes crazy (which he could ) maybe we could send:

    Francis and Synder for Magette.

Im not saying I like that trade or want that trade. I am just throwing a name out to get the discussion going. :D

I don't think Steve expected Rafer to be still on the team and getting significant minutes when he signed.

But that's life. Steve should still be able to contribute once he learns the system... it may take a while though. He had a hard time adjusting to Van Gundy's system, too, but he tried...and did a good job at it. Was very good in the playoffs, too.

Agreed. Especially those seasons where he was putting up 20/6/6 and at the time, only Kobe & KG were putting up those stats. Extremely overrated.

LMFAO. I've been trying to put a finger on who Bonzi looked liked. Him and Jadakiss could be brothers.

Im guessing if there was a fight in practice it would be Bonzi and Francis..

During the Mavs game they showed Mcgrady, Francis , and Yao sitting on the bench .. and Francis was complaining about something and McGrady got mad and tapped his elbow to Francis arms .. kind of telling him to shut up with a mean face and Francis got quiet.. haha good ol competition within the team.. this will only bond the team together.. I think the more you dislike a person and when you accomplished something with them.. it would bring them together easier.

Stats don't tell the whole story. I thought that would be obvious the way Francis has never succeeded in an offense revolving around him.

succeed as in win a title? Because if that's your theory, the league is 91% overrated.

Its real convenient to bring stats up with it aids your points or throw them to the side when it rivals your opinions lol

Listen, you don't put up those kinds of numbers by accident. Good players can be in bad situations....Good players can make a bad situation worse......Good players can make bad decisions. Good players don't turn bad over night....well unless he's injured.

Other than that....a player that has career avgs of 18 6 and 6 is NOT overrated.

agreed. for francis, we need to see Ast/TO ratio or something like "dumb shots per 48 min" or "ignored wide open teammate count". even against dallas' scrubs, francis was sloppy, looked lost on offense, and barely tried to guard anyone.

i like the guy's athleticism and raw talent, but he needs to really take time to LEARN the game...

A player who has career averages of 18 6 and 6 also shouldn't struggle to pick up an offense or be the 10th man off the bench.

AK is another example. he put up good numbers on a bad team. Now that Utah has good players, AK was cast aside. In fact, i predict Francis will go through a similar situation AK went through last year.

Fact is, Francis succeeded when he was allowed to hold the ball as long as he wanted. You BETTER average 18 6 and 6 when the whole offense revolves around you.

Right..because EVERYONE can average 18 6 and 6 when they get to hold the ball as much as Steve did. Let me remind you...that's a very very very short list.

Who said he was struggling to pick up the offense? You? and couple of beat writers? Why do you think he's the 10th man off the bench? You have the inside scoop? Who knows, maybe Rick doesn't need to see him play as much as he needs to see the other 13 players on the bench. I'm just seeing this with a different pair of glasses than you are.

That's obvious. anyone with eyes could see he looks the least comfortable out there on the court.

I think you might be right. Between the T he got during the practice and the way he sounds lately, I think he may have been a little ticked.
