to me that meant there was damage in there but he didn't want to operate or potentially perform microfracture. again....THIS IS JUST MY OPINION.

Robbie, your experience is not all that relevent, Tmac has had arthoscopic surgery, it is extremely minor.

You are basically saying 3 doctors are lying.

I had the same surgery as Tmac, and the knee felt loose but after about 3 months it was fine.

I think he is babying it, and he is embarrased by his play, and do believe he has some pain, but has to get through it.

Oh well, the best thing for all parties right now is for the organization to just bench him and put him on an aggressive rehab schedule.

Then limit him to off the bench minutes when he comes back.

Did you earn 2000M a year? If so, your experiences are plausible.

The MRI showed nothing new. This is just another smoke job from McGrady. He's not out for the season. He's not going to need microfracture. It's so much garbage.

    It's freaking disgusting.

To be clear on this, there's nothing more the orthopedic surgeons can discover without scoping Tracy's knee, correct?

    I agree with that but:

    1) I don't belive our medical staff ANYMORE
    2) He wants to be himself when he plays, you know, it is tough to play when you can't make moves you used to. He wants to be T-Mac.

after i had my 2nd acl reconstruction and microfracture i injured my knee again. you want to guess how? you will never guess because it is the most embarrassing way ever....i did it in my sleep :( i remember trying to get comfortable in the middle of the night and i tweaked my knee. i felt the tissue rip. my knee has not felt smooth since. i know i need to get surgery on it again to clean it up but i don't want to because i don't want to go under the knife again. i am going to have to get the surgery done because i am becoming pretty active again and this irritation is holding me back. it's probably the equivalent to having a splinter in your finger...but if you are smashing that finger on the ground over and over and over and over again it is going to cause significant problems. i am limping around on my knee right now because of this damn thing. it sucks.

edit...but i hope you are right.

Dude, THE MRI SHOWS NO CHANGE!!! There's no season ending injury. There's no need for microfracture surgery.

If there's anybody you should be doubting here it's McGrady.

what the hell does earning 2 billion dollars have to do with anything? i earned a lot more than my doctor last year...does that make me a more viable doctor than him? :p

I know and actually it is a great news. We all know McGrady is what he is...

But it is tough to play when you know you have done better in your carrer. I mean, it is frustrating for McGrady because he can't really be himself.

But he has to play. His knee hasn't gotten any worse (at least I hope so) and he has to play and attack. That is all.

i agree with no 1. No way the doctors gonna contradict their earlier diagnosis. Theyre gonna get fired for sure.

If i were tmac, id sit the season out, and head for phx and have myself get checked out by their doctors. then come back strong next year for whichever team would have him by then.

and my knee is jacked up and my mri shows nothing...except my doctor actually trusts me. he understands that if i am coming back repeatedly and the mri shows nothing then maybe there is something wrong that the mri isn't showing. he stated that when i want the surgery done on my knee he will do it. ...have you had knee problems before?

No, because he still can do well.

It is not like the knee is getting worse, at least MRI didn't show that.

It is time for him when he really can win something, so he has to carry this team and damn, play better.

And when is McGrady going under the knife? Where did all the stuff about season ending injuries and microfracture come from? Because it sure as Hell didn't come from the doctors.

McGrady's blowing smoke again. This is all so much bull****.

    NOW THAT I BELIEVE !!

I have no data, at all, just a theory.

I think he got embarrased by his dunk attempt and then admitted he is still afraid of jumping off that knee.

Earlier this year he shut it down, not because the pain was that much worse but because he didn't like he way he was playing.

I think this is the SAME exact thing...he is embarrassed that he is not Tmac....right now, and is shutting it down.

I don't think his knee is any worse, I think he is just scared, and knows it...and doesn't want to play that way because it makes him look bad.

The problem is, that if my theory is right, I am not sure how you go about fixing him.
