Doesn't mike james sound like he reads clutchfans? A lot of what he says reflect the feelings of clutchfans. He actually sounds pretty intelligent.
yeah... i agree wholeheartedly. he hasn't once refered to jvg as "jvg", but instead as "coach". ...also referred to himself in third person before the first intermission.
I can almost see Mike James underneath that enormous green hat. Interesting selection given the lighting in studio.
Just caught the end of the interview. Basically, he says he's not worrying about the financial side (that's the agent's problem) and that the only interaction he's had with the Rockets is Van Grumpy's late night redezvous. Oh yeah, he likes the new basketballs. Says that will help his outside shooting.
Intelligent? Good. That would be quite the switch from his last AM610 interview with Matt & Adam. Maybe he just had a REALLY bad day.

No dude, I meant Mike James. He sounded like an educated basketball fan talking about Brain Colangelo making the raptors into Phoenix east and how Battier would fit in with the Rockets. I was basically expecting him to talk about himself and how good he was going to be haha.
lol. but seriously, he sounds somewhat intelligent, but he also strikes me as the kind of guy who can absolutely snap and go nuts on you at a moments notice. kind of like watching mike tyson in an interview. you are just praying that the interviewer ask questions that keep him happy and calm.
Ok, through out tha whole interview u didnt c mike james face becouse a hat, he said that it felt good that JVG came to his house "its nice to be wanted" he also said that he thinks tha new ball will help his 3pt shooting! He said that he loved it in Toronto. The only contact he has had with the Rockets was when JVG went to his house.
MJ said that mavs have offered him a contract and that the rockets have only sent jvg to his house. other than that, no offer yet. he also said that money wasn't a problem unless someone is going to be "serious." gave his ideas on the battier trade and talked about his time on toronto. also about t-mac being his boy. other than that, not much new. he does sound very open to playing on the rockets again and said jvg was a good coach. that he is not like most coaches the way he goes about doing things. says that jvg thinks outside of the box. other than that, nothing new. it was good seeing MJ again though.
I must admit that was a good series of questions. Intelligent and yet tried to put him on the spot. Nice to hear good sportscasters.
I'm just glad he wont be able to dominate us in games anymore. Those were some painful games this year.
