may be a little off topic... i have league pass but there were'nt any games on tv yesterday..am i the only one ?or does league pass normally not give you acess to pre-season games.doesn't make any sense if thats the case. thx
For those of you who have Time Warner, I found it helps if you watch Channel 51 through the VCR. That is, turn on your VCR, put it on VCR setting and change it to Channel 51 (which is channel 2 on Time Warner). If you try this, it should remove the all of the bleed from the other channel and some of the fuzziness.
Time Warner users: call Time Warner and complain. Have them send out a repairman. This will help in two ways: 1. They may actually improve your reception. They ran new cable from the junction to my house and 51 is now watchable; before it would drop out every few seconds. 2. If enough people do this, and they have the majority of their repair guys out every day trying to fix channel 51, they might decide to retransmit it on the digital channels like they do channels 2, 11, 13 and Fox and really fix the problem.
Aside from the picture, the mono sound of channel 51 really brings out the best of my HK reciever and infinity speakers!
all i have to say is that its sad quality for us. when r they gonna start broadcasting all NBA and NFL games in HD.. at least in the NFL where the games are on networks and there is just 1 a week
That wont help. I called once and was given a number for some TW engineer and also TV51 rep and both of them said that nothing can be done about the poor reception due to the fact that the signal is on CH. 2 and its a frequency thing that cannot be fixed unless the channel is moved to another freq.
Guys I get channel 51 here in pearland and it works just fine for me. I wish all the games were on tv51. If I was in charge of the rockets tv deals they would be. Its a low bandwidth station we all know that but its still a solid signal that has improved over the last 2 to 3 years. Go Rockets lets have a great season and beat Dallas a$$ this season.
