Is it possible what Yao really said in the locker room is Tmac should be out of the line-up and workout until he is 100%. That is not the same as asking Tmac out of Houston.

i think adelman and morey wanted that but tracy said he wanted to keep trying to play (hence the first game of the b2b plan).

that plan didn't work out so now everyone wants tracy to rest until he's ready.

    Here's everything from my mouth:

i don't know Aldridge - don't know his source - don't know anything about Yao going to management. What I know is that the articles about the clash in the locker room amongst the players and Tmac is REAL. That I know for a fact. I know about the Yao/Tracy deal. There's nothing I can say that can add to that. I'm telling you as honest as I can when I tell you that what you hear is not the truth. Now...what does that mean? I never said Yao and Tracy don't speak to each other. I made it clear in an earlier post. OF COURSE, they speak to each other, for God's sake that's silly. It's silly when reporters ask Yao, "WILL YOU EVER SPEAK TO TRACY MCGRADY AGAIN OR GO TO HIS HOUSE OR HAVE DINNER WITH HIM?" Come on, y'all.

It's like with Mike James and Tracy HATED Mike James but they still talked but TMAC hated Mike James. So the nit-picking at words on both sides is just not where it is. Trust the force, Luke and just make your own decision. In the grand scheme of things, it's really worthless info. Without a healthy TMAC and RON, there will be NO NBA ring - period. That is one fact that can't be argued...

I said look to Yao Ming because THAT was where this would surface. Nobody cares what Rafer thinks about TMac or what Battier thinks about TMac or anyone else. But Yao's different.

As for jumping the shark, of course the shark has been jumped. Tracy won't be back here after next year. He won't resign here. He's a season and a half away from being somewhere else. Of course, he's jumped the shark. I also said that OF COURSE they can play together. If he rehabs and stops eating and drinking, of course he can play with this team. Do you really think that despite what we think of TMAC that we wouldn't cheer like madmen if he the gamewinner in game 7? OF COURSE, we would. That has NOTHING to do with this.

The team itself is fed up with his act. You can believe the Chron (until they retract it) or SINA, or CCTV or ESPN or FLorida paper or whoever you like and whatever you like. I just drop what I know and even now feel awkward about talking this openly but since it's out, it's out. The spin is everywhere...and GOD I'd love to tell you how I know that. I'd like to see Clutch chime in at some point on this but we'll see...

Either way you believe, this is just a BBS and this is what we do here. We tell what we know and go from there. If it takes off, it takes off. This one took off a little too much and a little too fast but mainly because the players (**cough**) RAFER (**cough**) don't give a SHeet about what Tmac thinks.

have heard nothing more about trades, I would bet the lockdown is going to be tight for a while but have no fear for the tightest of lock can't protect against a shadow ( I know...that was stupid!)

Anyway, here's to hoping that Tracy comes back on his best behavior but if he does, it has to do only with Morey and Adelman - not us, not the fans, not the media but those two. They must agree - the big 3.

As for all the other reports, I don't know them or anything about them. I know Zeirlein is pretty plugged in depsite what ya think about him. He's good for drama and really, that's why we're here. The drama is fun. But don't worry, there's still more to come.

Make no mistake, there are TWO locker rooms - - not ONE! :D

    so DOC ROCKET
Besides McGrady, who would you say is causing the most unrest..
It seems like you are insinuating that Rafer is a big part of the problem..

I think that was just due to people blindly calling BS to something. rafer's not a problem at all. To be honest, 'Rafer's a warrior' as one friend put it, "brings it every night." (Even though the shot may not be with it)

The story of the feuding in the locker room is actually pretty narrow but a lot of things have sidetracked it. NBA.com, Chinese paper, "Houston you have aproblem" I don't know about any of those things. I can comment as a fan but I can't speak to them other than to say that what is in the article is true as far as I know it. But on the grand scheme, I don't know much...just a little and some of it's worth posting - some not - some that CAN'T be no matter what.

I'm just tired of typing about this thread. I think most people with common sense knows there are some real solid things going on in the locker room. Outside of that, I'm just kinda done with the topic really. Crossing my fingers on the rehab and hoping for miracle.

So if Doc Rocket is right, the best we can hope for is a last hurrah playoff run with McGrady this year? That's depressing.

But IMO if this team really gets it together and ends up getting to the finals, I'll bet the team and McGrady change their minds about one another. Winning solves a lot of problems.

I bet Alston's still pissed about McGrady calling a poor shooting night a few seasons back a "Rafer night." :D

    Doc,

Tracy's sabatical - was it his doing, or was it the organizations doing?

And when you say, the big 3 must agree, is that Morey, Adelman and Tmac, or Morey Adelman and the team/Yao?

Also, drinking? Did I read that right? Is Tmac out clubbing too much?

I don't know for sure about his leaving but I'd bet it was HIS call and not the other 2 (Morey and Rick). I really believe that and I believe from what I hear that they just said 'Do whatever you want.' My friend didn't get the feel that they were happy with it. But I don't know that for sure...that was HIS feeling based on what he knows.

TMac clubbing? No idea. Maybe a few hamburgers but I don't know about the clubbing or drinking at all. I've never heard that he's one of those guys who's a big partier at all. I KNOW he likes his women but have never heard anything about drinking or drugs or anything like that EVER brought up with TMAC.

    Hey Doc...

Anything on Head being moved or do you know if they're actively shopping him? Do you know which player or position the organization is really trying to grab in a possbile trade involving Head.

    thanks in advance!

You really disappointed DD with that. He actually is half expecting Tmac was caught with 10 kilos of coke at XYZ club somewhere in Midtown and it was swept under the rug until you reported it here.

Doc, your basically feeding drama junkies more smack so they can get hooked more.

I thought McGrady didnt drink alchohol even when on the occassional night out on the town? So it must be sodas and milkshakes he's consuming too much.

Seems to me on a 10 scale the locker room issues are level 5 - noticably needs to be addressed and close to point of no looking back but can be resolved, and can happen in 1/3 of the franchises...

But cuz its the Rockets who we'ved believed for years had one the best locker rooms in the league, with super outstanding character guys like Yao and Battier and Mutombo, the shock value tends to be higher. It'd be like finding out Craig Biggio wanted Jeff Bagwell off the team cuz he didnt like his approach to his shoulder rehab. As long as they know how to play through it...we'll see
