Yes, they are fighting, yes his teamates despise him......no, I don't believe it is incurable...it is going to take TMac to change his ways, if he won't I think he will be exiled as you say.

Sounds like you only believe what you want to hear. When every reporter or blogger had any dirt on the team, you treated it as 100% fact. But when Yao Ming, one of the actual players speaks out, "Oh hes putting up a front. Hes too nice, he's doesn't want to be public about it, ect. ect.". You're right, he's too nice. I don't see him as a two-face type of person. Says everything is cool in the media but behind his back, he's trying to get rid of him. No, I don't see Yao Ming doing that. That is low and Yao isn't that kind of guy.

I don't think Yao is doing anything behind anyone's back, I think Yao had some frustrating moments and they leaked out.

Bingo. People have already made up their minds. Yao could call Aldridge a effing lying a-hole and people would still think Yao is covering something up.

I think things were said in the locker room (not out of the ordinary for a struggling team). I think Yao may have talked to T-mac about his play and his standing with this team (being in and out of the lineup) and how it is affecting them. I don't think he's called him out in the wrestler's, loud and screaming, sense and i don't think he's asked for him to be traded.

I think he was upset that there was a rat in the locker room, a place where you're supposed to be comfortable to speak your mind. I don't think he would flat out lie on camera though.

I have to admit I'm not really an emotional fan. The drama doesn't really concern me. I care way more about the outcome of games.

NO, no. Yao is saying T-Mac is fake. He is not even calling him tmac anymore. Yao just calls him "it". "It" is fake. Typical way a chinese person insults another person in english.

Thank god for that last question translation by the chinese interviewer. Whew, definitely cleared up the confusing questions for Yao.

To me . . I think this much is true
    1. YAO if frustrated - with the team .. with the inconsistancies etc

    beyond that
    I don't know or care

I doubt Yao is the type to throw anyone under a bus publically
I doubt Yao is the type to run to management

But I am sure he talks to family and friends like anyone else

it sounded to me like Yao was saying IF something like that would have been said, it wouldn't have left the locker room so the media wouldn't be reporting it anyway, that's why he brought up what happens in the lockerrom stays there, but says in this case nothing lthat bad happened, but that of course when things are going bad the media are going to start rumors and players are going to be frustrated.

In other words, i do think something happened inside the team, but i don't believe it as severe as its implied or still ongoing, Yao probably blurted something out after a tough loss...similar to when Tmac complained about lack of shots, then took it back the next day when he looked at the game film and realized he had opportunities he didn't take.

I believe Doc Rocket when he says it is bad in there, I believe I see more effort on the floor when Tmac is not playing.

I believe it will fix, one way or another.

    I Believe.

If Yao said this behind closed doors then he thought it would stay behind closed doors.

It leaked out, so of course Yao isn't going to publicly admit that he wants T-mac out. It would make the situation much worse.

Although I will say if Yao did make it public that he wants T-mac out of Houston there is no way you could keep T-mac and Yao. One would have to go and at this point it would most likely be T-mac.

But back to my point. Even if Yao did say it he wouldn't admit it publicly. It's up to you to believe it or not. It's up to T-mac to trust Yao or not to trust him.

Man the only reason Yao is looking hesitant is because he's just so surprised at what is happening and doesn't know how to respond its not because its true and like he said its the first time he's been involved in a feud.

I don't believe this rumor at all... Yao played from China where players don't get traded (from what I believe...correct me if I'm wrong). For Yao asking one of the vital parts of this team to be traded, that doesn't sound Yao to me...

Uncle Motumbo to the rescue :D

    Doc Rocket,

If you've seen this and are reading this thread, what is your view of what Yao has said? There were definitely some quotes worth speculation but do you know or believe if Yao is keeping this away from the public on purpose or is there really no escalated tension at all and instead, just some joking around?

I understand what Yao is trying to say....he say that because the team is going through tough time, there are a lot of shyt being said about the team and most of them are not true. And when things go well, everything is nice...everybody have nice things to say etc..

And that whatever said in the locker room will not be discussed out of respect for his teammates.

This season, as "bad" as it may be, is not even close to beyond repair. Think of all the LA feuds. Odom punched Kobe in front of all of their teammates for heavens sakes. Kobe blasts Bynum. Kobe quits on the Lakers organization as a whole. Kobe quits during the 4th quarter of a playoff game vs Phoenix. Phil Jackson tells Kobe he's shooting too much so Kobe doesn't attempt a shot until the second half of the game to prove his point. Deep down Kobe is every bit the spoiled little brat he's always been.

If T-Mac was acting as poorly as we're hearing then we would most certainly be hearing more. He slacked off and the team is paying for it during a season in which they all envisioned trophies and a banner. He still has time to make ammends. Trust me, if T-Mac leaves, Ron will be quick to follow.
