I was writing what he said. He doesn't say "IT," but that's clearly what he means. Basically, "this story is B.S., can we just let it go!?"

Obviously, something is going on, because Yao brought up the whole "stays in the locker room" speech.

Got me confused a bit, from the beginning he's complaining about media stirring things up; then he mentioned the locker room rule, that nothing should ever leak out, almost sounds like he's upset of the news leaking out rather than being fake...

My guess is there's something going on there.

It's not a secret Artest and Alston have called out Mcgrady in the press. There are several thinly veiled criticism in their quotes after games directed at Mcgrady.

Yao is just telling his guys to keep that in the locker room in my opinion.

I didn't believe in the rumour, but I'm starting to believe it right now. If it was a lie, Yao would have denied it clearly, but he's saying "when you lose are difficult times", "we have talked...", "all stays in locker room", so must be something true.

Hopefully nothing too serious or repairable by winning games with Tracy playing good.

you can read this anyway you want. i think there was an issue but the team has talked about it privately and they're going to work to fix it and go from there.

When your captain and $21 million dollar a year teammate quits on the team, when they are still in the playoff hunt, teammates tend to get upset.

Actually to heck with Yao. Somebody should track down T-Mac and stick a mic in his face. We know McGrady has a problem keeping his mouth shut.

Yao is not going to say it publicly....he is too good a guy and knows his marketability drops if he does say it in public.

If it is true....and I think it is....Yao and the team will work behind the scenes to get him out.

When Yao joked around at Raheel's interview, people were saying, "Look, he's dancing around. He didn't deny it."

Now Yao categorically said, "It's fake." People are saying, "No, no, no. Yao is not going to say it publicly."

LOL, I knew people would believe what they want to believe no matter what Yao said.

It's funny people here constantly complain about how the media spin things, and then they turn around and spin things themselves.

That's true. I'm surprised no one's asked him about it yet.

If this thread continues with more posts everyone will probably answering a different question...Is Yao lying?

    Easy,

That is a fair point, but what would you expect him to say if it was true?

    Yes...?

He goes on and on about what is said in the locker room stays there.......many many people have said that is what is happening.....even our insiders on this board.

You are right though, it comes down to what you believe.....

So it doesn't really matter what anyone says, you are going to believe whatever you want to?

I dunno, what do you make of that "What happens in the locker room stays in the locker room" stuff?

Anyone who's not a T-Mac apologist heard that and thought to themselves "Oh really???"

sad thing is that its true I am sure/hope the Rockets management have told Tracy to avoid any and all Non-Rockets sanctioned media and events until his two week exile is over

Well, I would expect him to continue to dance around. I mean, if it was true and he straight out denied it, what did it make him? A liar. Yao is too smart to do that.

There is no secret that there is tension in the locker room. There is no secret that players aren't happy with what's up with TMac. Are they fighting? Does Yao want him out? Is T-Mac "hated" by his teammates? Is T-Mac an incurable cancer? I am not as sure as you are.
