Battier is a complimentary player, he is not a guy that gets his own shots, he is a guy that relies on teamwork and the passing of others.

Stepping up in the playoffs, who has done that on this team? No one.

I can't agree with you on that.

Alston provided a lot of help during last year's playoffs, and McGrady hasn't exactly be crap either despite his FG%.

Aside from these two, I agree that no one has stepped up in the playoffs. I always wondered, perhaps limiting Mutombo's minutes in the playoff was a bad idea?

I wish T-Mac would just STFU and play. We don't need to hear anything else from his mouth until we get out of the first round.

    Tmac's swagger is coming back

    i love it

but i trust more the trainer than mcgrady or any of the fans in this forum

believe the trainer he knows mcgrady since high school!

if he says tmac is the old tmac then we better believe him

Can't wait to see how it goes

I kind of agree, he is paid by Tmac, so it skews his opinion....but his reputation as a trainer is on the line....so I think he probably has the best take on the situation out of anyone.

In any case, the escuses are OVER

if Mcgrady comes back and plays like crap for 5-10 games in a row or doesn't try or w.e

then it's time to trade his sorry ass

    THE TIME IS NOW

Agreed, about the excuses, but for me they were over a long time ago....

I will say though....I am rooting for him to come back healthy because it is good for the team....

Anything that is good for the Rockets is fine by me.

LOL I didn't even notice! Best post of the thread anyone? Maybe his "rehab" actually consisted of taking bottle after bottle of Eye-mo...

Just wondering is this the same trainer who taught him bad form? I remember there was thread about Tmac's trainer being horrible a while back. If it is Tmac is in serious trouble...

haha, you forget the start is the hardest part, once t-mac builds some steam and gets momentum it wouldn't take 12.8. Probly somewhere under 10 seconds I'd believe. With his length I have no idea though.

Remember he is 6'8 as well. He probly can't run sprints as fast as shorter people.

Work hard for a while is not difficult. The difficult part is to keep working hard until it becomes a habit. Tracy, you are among the most talented NBA players of all time. Don't just waste it. :)

T-mac will come back and work hard....if only to save the average Clutchfan from the pain of hearing Dada's incessant complaining.

Help us Tracey McGrady, you're our only hope. Help us defeat Darth Dada!

Does tmac not get paid per game or something, is this a reason he doesnt like sitting out for the longer duration?

honestly tmac cant get anywhere near his old self with 10 days of working out, idc if he had the best trainer in the world 10 days of working out is not going to all of a sudden transform him he needs another month or two before people start saying hes the old tmac again. We will definitely see an improvement because now that hes worked out and feels better its going to help him mentally as well, imo i think tmac should take another two months off and let ron/wafer take over scoring while hes out so this time when tmac comes back he will really be the old tmac

Beijing 2008 took a lot out of Tmac hence the new "offseason in January" philosophy.

All those track events were a b****...fortunately he never got out of the preliminary heats.

I still want him to take all 3 weeks off, even if he thinks he's ready now.

DD, I guess u have no problem with Battier's man dropping down adjusting yao's shorts? I guess you don't see kobe not even gaurding him on a shallow cut, instead stays and tries to dig the ball out? If shane can't lock his man down, he kills every part of the offense. If jerry west trades you, that says a lot about you as a player. He doesn't trade away good players unless he's swindling someone else.
