This is the last straw for him. If he comes back full throttle for the rest of the season then for me its like this never happened. But if he comes back like a p%$*y then drop him.
tmac should just hang on to the rim after every dunk and wait for chuck hayes to come help him down so he doesnt hurt his knees on the drop
At this point I can't give McGrady the benefit of the doubt anymore. I'm tired of rhetoric from T-Mac. I wanna see his words backed up by actions on the court. I believe somebody mentioned this earlier in the thread, but the entire interview was about himself. All we heard was me, me, me and nothing about the team. I don't think there was a "miracle" in 10 days, but he did look leaner. I think T-Mac knows that the team needs him to truly be successful, because he's the only real playmaker on the roster. Thus, he feels he can get away with things he otherwise wouldn't be able to due to the team's dependency on his skillset. I'm cautiously optimistic and taking a wait and see approach. What else can I do, right?

But we can have fun dreaming, can't we? sidenote: Superman Returns doesn't even hold a candle to the first three Reeve's installments, not even close. /irrelevant post
At the end of the day it is good that TMac is working hard, I hope he comes back and plays within the system. I also hope Wafer keeps the starting job, he has earned it. DD
weve heard this b4.... maybe its cuz he affraid hes goign to lose his job, mayeb he reads the forums. anyways i hope he competes now and shows soem pride....
we don't need t-mac as a playmaker. we just need someone who can drive and dish. do the spurs have a playmaker? do the lakers have a playmaker? ok kobe goes 1 on 1 and draws the defense so i guess thats play making, but t-mac is so ineffective at scoring.
read my sig. we know this leopards spots and hes not changing them for anybody but hes there when we need him and hes there when it counts.
That wiki is wrong as wrong can get. Chris Johnson ran the fastest time ever at the combine last yr.Ever at 4.24 I believe. Anyway, when tracy was in orlando, it was said he was a 4.3 guy like clyde.
I'm a tech at a Physical Therapy Clinic and see people who have shoulder problems all the time. Some patients heal quicker than others. For the people who complained of pain, we usually took out all the strengthening exercises so that they don't aggravate the injury. Tmac guy couldn't lift weights or work out because he still had pain even after the surgery. The NBA is a pretty physical league and if you don't get to work out you're not going to very successful. As for the knee, people are different and some heal quicker than others. And rehabbing two injuries at once is pretty hard. I work with people who just needs to get better so that they can go on with their normal lives. It takes them months just to do that. Imagine trying to recover to be in tip top shape and play in the NBA---not even just play in the NBA, but be a star player----- that requires more than rehab and that's what his trainer is doing to him right now. I don't think he should have played during the beginning of the season. He should have worked out to get in NBA shape. In the beginning of the season he was in good normal shape but not in "NBA Superstar Athlete" shape. Look at Battier, he took about a month or two off before he started playing, and he's playing pretty well right now. Of course, Tmac couldn't do that because he felt like he needed to help the team, which is understandable. I just hope he gets back into shape like he was last season and help us in the playoffs.
The interview wasnt about the Rockets. It was all about T-mac and his progress over the past ten days. What, did yu really want to hear, "Oh yah, the team is doing a lot better without me." He said what everybody wanted to hear, which was the update on himself.
That's what I've been telling dd. Pro players train, regular people workout. If you try to train like a pro player even if you're in great shape, your not going to make it. 2 injuries at the same time is very, very hard.
