I'm sure JVG could school you and take me. That's a man with heart that you threw under the bus. He achieved more for the Rockets with less than Adelman has done.
Can the Rockets keep his trainer on the bench to give him encouragement and help motivate him during the games? I realize that this is probably a naive question but I want to know about it. 10 days of hard work can't reverse the damage of over the last 4-5 months, but I hope he will be able to play 50% better before he shut it down, however I feel that McGrady is mentally unsure of himself even though he feels better. I expect him to do well in some games but I remain skeptical that he can play consistently well.
Looking at the video he probably only needs 5 to 7 pound less at most ...he doesn't have to be skinny like tayshaun prince...
So this is what is had come down to on this board: If you hate Tmac's guts, you're a Rockets diehard If you don't hate his guts, you're his secret gay lover Pretty much sums up all the discussions on this board for the last few weeks. If Yao doesn't win a championship over the next couple of years, the fans will turn on him too. It's the nature of athlete-fan relations. I am very satisfied with what Yao and Tmac have accomplished over the last 4 years. They have had a lot of injuries and not much postseason success, but they did their best and they produced a lot of memorable moments. When they have been healthy they have won 70% of the games which is right up there. I have enjoyed the Rockets journey.
I don't know if this is real. Somehow something fishy about this video. But hey, I am all for banning all those haters from the bandwagon forever. I would love to see TMac back to his greatness and kick all those haters off the edge when they are trying climb back up the wagon.
Dude, I am a fan on a message board, but apparently you think I have the power to toss someone under a bus. WOOHOOO....awesome...what shall I do with my new found super powers...oh wait...nothing...it is all just opinion And JVG had 4+ years and failed.......if Adelman fails for 4+ years he should go to. I have NEVER been a hater of anything or anyone, but if I feel someone is bad for the team....gonna speak my mind. Ignore is a great feature Smooth....you would make the board better by using it. DD
he definetely looks alot better He better come back with his attitude straight. Another reason to prove his attitude before wasn't right. Guys isn't it time to forgive and forget if he doesn't stuff around for the next half of the season. Seriously everyone makes mistakes
it's a no win situation because no matter what you say he'll spin it his way and make it seem like what he says is right (sometime you do have great posts..can't lie DD) at which point you'll counteract his argument. Then what happens is he'll post the same things he's been saying in the thread over and over again. You will try to say something, but then he'll totally destroy you by posting 4x as much as you in a given thread because you'll get tired of posting. Then, finally what happens is, the cronies come in with a bunch of irrelevent arguments and demeaning insults and you stop caring/posting
It's a figure of speech. You have no credibility on heart or anything anymore (assuming that you ever did). You won't give even 30 minutes to help someone else. Why do you care what Les does with his $21 million? It's not your money.
JVG would have not been happy with the Denver game - he would been livid with the defense and the fact we didn't foul at the end there. Adelman is happy with the game. To me that epitomizes the difference. I will say that the passing is better with Adelman.
Wait, so someone explain to me how T-Mac could be "back to form" in just 10 days? Am I missing something here? A "10-day" workout regime is basically only as effective as a warmup. How is it even possible to consolidate a whole offseason (2 months at least) into just a little over a week and say "I'm back." The only thing that this break could have done for McGrady is to get his mind thinking right and loosen up his joints. What T-Mac basically said in my opinion is like saying our economy will be back to the way it was a few weeks from now since Obama just got inaugurated. I'll reserve my judgment when I see him play on the court.
Yes, you clearly are. Sometimes I am right sometimes wrong, it is just that I am not afraid to speak my mind even if it pisses off people who have posters of a particular player or bought their sneakers. Does it make me always right....clearly not. DD
You need to stop with the misquotes and putting words into others' mouths. You don't even want to see what I'd write about you.
Dude, fire away, if you feel so inclined. However, this is a Rocket's message board, not a DD and Smooth pissing contest. Clearly you do not care for my opinions....fair enough......counter em if you can..... DD
I agree. After surgery of any kind, it takes atleast 8-12 months to get back to where youre feeling confident, and even when you think you're back, it just takes a minor occurence to set you back. I'm speaking as a guy who just plays random games of pickup ball. When you start talking about competeing on the professional level, and playing up to the superstar level like what is expected of mcgrady, its going to take time. I've had my doubts about his commitment before, but after what happened last year, im willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, and give him time to prove himself.
