    Wouldn't logic suggest that having longer arms but being shorter is actual an advantage for being a big rather than a disadvantage?
    You'd have around the same reach of a tall big but be more agile and explosive than one, generally speaking.

    Yes, it is.

    I don't know if Greene was just giving cookie-cutter replies or if he's really speaking his mind, but I don't like how he thinks he can just knock down open jumpers all day playing next to Yao and Tmac.

    I hope the coaches drill this bit into him, that he's not here to be an athletic Steve Novak. He can do much more than shoot spot up 3s. He needs to take advantage of the seams that our stars create and attack the defense, then take the jumpers when they back off him to cut off his drive.

    And that was one of the big things that Morey talked about: guys that bring a positive influence to the locker room (he saw it as highly important since there are only a few people in there!)

    Thanks a lot for this video. Can't wait to see both of them in their first NBA game, see if they can walk the walk. I love the fact Greene is humble, Dorsey is a big talker but let's hope he can put his money where his mouth is.

    I believe Greene has a standing reach of 9'0, that doesn't seem all that deficient to me.

    Yes, but winspan is more important, and Donte has relatively short arms. This will affect him on defense, especially when he guards the small forwards, since he doesn't have the lateral quickness to guard that position.
