He mentioned D. Howard like 12 times......he's not that good

I like that he gave props to Yao Ming

Who can blame him for taking the money and running

I am going to love the roxs-magic games.....Yao must own along with the roxs

I'm not sure that will be the case. Once Shaq retires (he is already on the downhill side for sure) Howard and Lewis will be the Yao and Mcgrady of the East. They may be Yao-Mcgrady lite but that may very well be all it takes in the East. The Pistons are aging and the future of their core is uncertain. New York has talent but is a mess overall. Miami, Cleveland, and Washington are one man shows. I could see it being Chicago and Orlando duking it out for 5-7 years with Lebron and Wade making some noise every once in a while.

Good for Rashard... He signed a contract that has his family set up for the rest of their lives, assuming the money is managed well.

I don't think he should be expected to take less money just to go somewhere else with a better chance to win (Orlando is a solid EC playoff team now). This will be the only time in his career that he has the opportunity to make this kind of money. We all know that Orlando overpaid, but from his vantage point, how can you turn down $15m per year?

After this contract is up, he'll be 33 in 2012. That's the time for him to assess all the championship contender options without weighing money as heavily into the equation.

Congrats Rashard, I wish you luck in Orlando.

Nah, he was just uncomfortable. I guess he didn't want to say anything that could've been misinterpreted as being disrespectful. He probably wanted to answer "What planet are you from? 15 MILLION DOLLARS, MAN!" but didn't want to sound like an ass.

    In the east, that's possible.

Lebron took a 20 win team to the finals.
