I just hope that T-Mac is going through a change of teams. Gid rid of him and anybody who will cry about it when he's gone.

If T-Mac is so fragile, we might as well trade him for lesser talent.

That's playoff time with Clyde , I think that is something you prepare all season, so you can't just quit then.

Why do people want a player who at 100% has issues with fortitude when the team is backed into a corner, playing at less than 100%? Just let him come back completely healed.

To be honest, I'm more concerned in what Morey is doing or not doing in replacing the bench players we have starting in our starting lineup. Tracy McGrady will return when he feels he can.

Oh this thread really supported T-Mac trade fans.

Consider this as an tough injury, bad one, guy can't play if you force him he'll not give up his maximum.

Team needs him, he'll be back sooner or later.

Why are you all bashing him?

    Trade him?

HaHa, we can't beat 76ers without McGrady, plus don't count the first game when offense wasn't there.

And yeah, why are we in this position after all?

To think about playoffs, championships, bla bla?

    New coach, players, system ?

BECAUSE TRACY MCGRADY LEAD HOUSTON ROCKETS LAST YEAR TO PLAYOFFS WHEN YAO WAS INJURED.

    Ok now, trade him ?

    HaHa!

Yao has scored points on a broken leg...
There is a line I have always wanted to say in my life but will never have the chance. So I will use it here. In regards to McGrady...

T-Mac definitely reads the BBS! You see in the middle of the interview he directly points at this forum and all that smack you guys have been saying about him. No doubt he reads this forum he could even be a member man.

T-Mac can still score points with his injuries, but like the Magic and Mavericks games right after his knee injury, he will shoot even worse, play worse defense, and just be lagging ona team that is desperately trying to quicken the tempo.

It just isn't smart to bring him back until he is at a level where he can offer positive contributions to the team.

Not that I am pleased with T-Mac's public statements. He could have said the knee still doesn't feel right but I really want to come back as soon as I can to help the team. See, if he'd have said that, then everyone would have been ok with that That being said, he is an amazing talent that can help the team. He just needs to shut up and play. I don't care what it takes, just go out and play and put the ball in the hole. Cut down the turnovers and just play good solid basketball.

I remember the first time Francis was here. He had a word for all this and was telling Yao how to deal with the Media and the public. He said, winning solves a lot of problems. When you lose the snakes come out. Win and the snakes go away.

Pretty much says it all there don'tcha think?

I sincerely hope so cause there are indeed some useful opinions/suggestions on this board (Perhaps not in this thread), and I wish he can take them to heart or use them to motivate himself. I also want him to be aware that he's in a very dangerous situation right now. So if you are reading, Mac, all of your fans want you to mesh into the system and play at 100% every night. You know you can be the best player in the entire league if you try your best. We all have faith in you.

He is not playing Sat. No biggie, if the players dont care, why should us fans.

BTW, the tough guys in the league would say this is nothing, I am playing, they will have to chop my head off not to play.

I can't hold back anymore as I look at my framed autograph T-Mac jersey here in my office. Okay, I won't call him a p...y just yet but I'm damn close as I think of MJ beating the jazz with a 103 fever :D

If he's hurt, fine. I don't have a problem with that. If this thing doesn't show any sign of getting better, sit him on the bench the rest of the season. If you can't play, you can't play. I'm no doctor, so I'm not going to try to analyze that any more than that.

But why do we keep getting these dates when he'll be back, and then he's not back? Is it just that they think it will be better but who the hell knows? I wish they'd just say THAT and we in Rockets Nation can stop worrying about it. I don't know if TMac needs to talk to his doctors or what, but them saying "He should be fine in 5-10 days," (and then he's not), or "Give him two weeks and he'll be fine," (and then he's not), and people are going to question the guy's desire.

And I'm sorry, don't ever tell me you're not "mentally" ready to play. You get paid an obscene amount of money to do so. If you are worried about playing hurt, then you're not physically ready to play. That's fine--like I said, if you can't play, you can't play. Just say it THAT way. Not being "mentally" ready was a HORRIBLE choice of words, and definitely makes one wonder.

Knee injuries are tricky things -- very mental sometimes -- but in this case Tracy's choice of words again make him come across as feather soft.

Cut down the turnovers? The dude always has one of the best assist-turnover ratios in the league for a non-PG.
