can you make sense of this? i'm confused, seeing as how yesterday was a completely opposite tune, and i'm just wanting a little help deciphering this nonsense.

he never said he can't play on saturday. there's another practice tomorrow to see how his knee responds. sometimes the soreness and pain are worst b/c it has been his first practice in a month. maybe it'll loosen up tomorrow. he just said if the game was TOMORROW, he wouldn't play.

 

I told you people here take like only one piece of the picture and then crucify it. Its like the picture of Mcgrady laughing after the Dallas loss...........WITH juwon howards. People were like why is he laughing blah blah blah, and then they finally noticed J.Ho was there too.....idiots.

It looks like his knee is responding well to practice now. I would be down too if i practiced for the first time and the knee was sore. Thats every players worse nightmare when you rock back from injury. Hopefully he'll pull up ok tonight

 

He won't be starter in the next game. It's said he would come off the bench ... don't hold much hope that he would make a big difference in his first few games ... it does take time ...

 

Well, given as strong and consistent an opponent like San Antonio Spurs, IMHO, we should not play TMAC at all, not even from the bench.

He is not ready. Period. By playing him from the bench, I'm afraid:-

• Either he will get knocked down and hurt his knee/tendon again (knock wood)
  
• He would as his usual self dominates on the ball too long, and therefore impede and stagnant the offense.
  
• Given his poor conditioning and having not played basketball for 1 month, he is gonna be a non-factor and on-looker, resulting in the Rockets playing 4 versus 5 with the San Antonio Spurs.

Regardless how short his play minutes will be, that will be tilting the balance further to the San Antonio Spurs (The balance is already tilted anyway).

 

Since somebody said that he actually read this board, I guess he's just trying to prove that he doesn't pick the weak teams for his return on purpose (as some are acusing him for). Don't rush it Tmac, we'll understrand if your are not ready. Besides, I don't want you to get hurt by Bowen, who has a history of hurting opponent players 'accidently'.

mcgrady's mood and words are like texas weather. i'm not expecting anything for the spurs game of him, as i don't know what to expect. someone tell me there's not a chance he wakes up today not right and says "i'm not gonna play tonight" again...

your dislike of tmac is too strong. u should know after watching the last 2 4th quarters that it's not tmac that made this offense stagnant. players were standing around yao trying to iso him. that's what they did with tmac. they gave him the ball and just stood and watched. that's not his fault.

he has said PLEASE DON'T STAND AROUND AND WATCH ME. MOVE.

how about this?

don't work out/exercise for a month. the first day you're back, life a ton of weights. see how you feel the night of that and next day and tell me if you can lift weights again.

tmac has not played or done ANYTHING on the court for a month. it's natural for him to feel how he felt yesterday in terms of soreness/pain. it lessens as you keep playing b/c your body adjusts to it.

 

I think he will be back this time,but won't play much time on the court.
