lol u know he's excited b/c he wasn't being "proper" with his answering process like he usually is haha. Throwing out expletives and keeping it real.

 

Can anyone recap the whole interview for us poor saps who are oversea's with dial up like internet?

 

as much as many flawed things exist about Tmac, he gives great interviews. He is franks and doesnt BS around and give robotic answers like he is trying to impress the media!!

another part that made me laugh was when they asked tmac about francis dribbling too much he said "i dont think he will do that.... I HOPE he wont do that..." lol

 

Hah thanks for the vid man,seeing tmac happy like this just makes the offseason all worthwhile.

His reaction in the beginning is just so pure.

 

TMac is a terrible actor. He clearly already knew. Plus, he's been recruiting Steve!

Once again thanks Hilltopper. Can't wait to see tomorrow's SF3 press conference. Those with doubts will get to hear for themselves how much he has matured over past years and how he will be a team player.

 

No, but I don't think that he would have given a reporter a 9 minute interview about someone who he wasn't excited about.

I liked the end...

No but if you had listened to the rest of the interview you will see that he didn't just praise Francis he broke down concerns. Hoping that Francis doesn't dribble to much, saying thought Francis was humbled and that Francis was excited to return and never wanted to leave. That alone told the story.

 

I hope egos don't destroy this team!...and I hope
the humility that he's predicting from Francis is
also reciprocated....being that he was the main
player for which Francis was dealt for....If egos
are kept in check this team is scary REAL scary.

True. Yao is the only one to really worry about. Aside from Yao and Les, there is no one else here that was even around last time Steve was here. Heck, I think even people like the marketing department are different (remember Tim who used to post on this board? he left, too).

It needs to be clear, though, that this is now Yao's team and Tracy's team. I'm not worried about Tracy. Somewhat about Yao. I think it would be in his nature to be submissive to Steve, but it is more in his nature to win, and he knows that logically that requires him to be da man, now, so I think it should work out.

 

i cant wait...im glad we're making these moves in Gene and Jim's final season

"do you think steve has matured because he took less money to come here?"

"no he just got 30 million up front"
