Did you want him to hold your hand while he said it, too? The reporter asked him a specific question and he answered it. He worked his butt off over the off season and he feels ready so that's what he's sticking with.

Adelman, the coach who's been in the League for how long long?, and has built up a rep of being a player's coach. Is suddenly a dishonest person, out to ruin McGrady's career?

Come on guy, all he's doing is perpetuating the drama. You think he doesn't realize this?

As a Tmac fan and a Rockets fan, I hope the Rockets trade him soon. He should know full well by now that he is hated in Houston and that he has no future in this organization. His best chance to redeem himself would be to be traded to a contender and show that he can contribute in the playoffs and maybe even win a championship. The Rockets on the other hand should be focused on getting themselves another franchise player and the future of this team. However that's easier said than done, given Tmac's contract and the willingness of other team's to trade their franchise player. I just hope this whole drama ends because I'm sick of it. I just want the Rockets to get media attention because of how well they are playing, not because Tmac and the Rockets organization disagree on when he should play. That's just stupid in my opinion. The bright side of all this is that maybe the Rockets are getting more offers for Tmac after reading all this drama about him and the organization.

hold a minute. Some things are different by how each person feels but i believe they are all on the same page. i mean yea t-mac says he is ready but it is up to the doctors on when he can come back, and he has let them decide. Him and adelman both said there was no heated argument. I mean what is the big deal with the antics?. so what he put on his jersey, thats it. He put it on even though he KNEW he wasnt playing. The hoopla is because it is Mcgrady and Mcgrady can draw attention no matter what he does. notice everyone is here for a PRACTICE.

 

Man he curse twice in the entire piece what's your problem? Other veterans when frustrated have done the same.

if i was in t-mac's situation i'd be extremely frustrated and pissed, too.

all this hate he gets here is just unreal.

 

I always thought if you had to swear a lot, it's because you aren't intelligent enough to think of better words to use.

There's one simple solution. Get video of Tracy in practice, then we will finally know who's telling the truth here, McGrady or Morey and company.

I'm disappointed the only thing the reporters could think of in that interview was "So... you think you're ready to play?".
