No the main problem isn't that he thinks he is a leader, it's that he isn't one at all. He makes his awkward attempts to lead but it doesn't work.

T-mac would be better playing the role of Clyde. A super-star role player. That's what RA wants. And that is the path for T-mac to be successful as a Rocket and to win.

He's not MJ, he's not Kobe, but he still thinks he is. He might have been on that trajectory but that ship has sailed. He is still though a very very good player. And can be a top 20 player in this league.

But it's time for him to be an older and wiser player. The contested 3 pointers have to be gone unless it's a shot clock situation. he's got to come back and drive and dish, play the mid-range game, and be a passer. He has to get the ball and immediately create off the dribble or pass it.

Should he be setting picks for other guys? I don't think so. Other guys should be setting picks for him. He should set an occasional pick, but let's no try to turn the guy into John Stockton.

T-mac is a spacer - he's a guy when he doesn't have the ball you can use to open defenses up. You can't cheat off of t-mac, and that is one of his biggest assets on the offensive side of the court. Not because he has a deadly 3 point shot but because he can then drive it to the hole and shoot a high percentage shot or pass it to someone else for an easy shot.

That is his game. Coming around picks to drive. That's the t-mac of old. And that's a guy RA would love to have because no one on this team can drive the ball and dish like T-mac.

Brooks is too short. Lowry is too out of control. Ariza can't dribble. Shane is too slow.

This is right on the money. I just dont understand how these pro T-Mac people can have such selective memories. T-Mac has a HISTORY of going rogue on his own. Making decisions (and announcing them) on his own. If you take a big step back and look at the big picture and his history you will see that this guy has not been a good employee or teammate. Come on. You people cannot be so love struck that you cant think clearly and sanely on this issue? Can you?

Ask anyone who was a former huge T-Mac fan from Toronto or Orlando about how the guy broke their heart - See the pattern yet?

I hate to say it but when we got T-Mac and all those former fans came on forums to say "lookout, he's a selfish, prima dona that ONE DAY will screw you over for the betterment of T-Mac, well that day is here and has been here for over a year.

You folks who keep sticking up for T-Mac over and over are like the guy who's girlfriend is always cheating on him and he keeps accepting her back while his friends just roll their eyes and say "You cant seriously keep putting up with this" - I guess love is blind sometimes.

Has anyone seen Tmac practice? Did he run up and down the court scoring, playing D, and rebounding. If not then he should sit down. U don't play your way into the previous, u show it in practice. period case close.
