Oh sure, you made many guarantees last season sounding so confident... and hardly any of your predictions came true. Time to accept McGrady is washed up.

you know i think if we get a scoring PG like Bibby or even Cassell, we can make Tmac a more athletic version of Peja.

Im curious to see who our starting PF is next year. If we get a good passing PF.

doesnt matter who the coach is as long as Rafer is the starting PG

uh i never thought he would have that back spasm in december. and i didn't know he sat 90% of the offseason ballooning his weight to 250.

basketball is all about rhythm, esp. shooting.

He has back spasms every year, you should know that. Sitting 90% of the offseason, I'd like some proof please... not "Yeah I read it a while back". Just because he looks fat doesn't mean he did nothing.

Peja? Come on now. T-Mac will probably shooting a FG% of .333.

wtf? how do u get FAT then? u exercise and u get FAT???

he admitted that he basically did nothing but rest his butt off until there was aboslutely no pain left last offseason and then he just got into shape while basically didnt work much in his game. that's why u saw him slow as a mutha to start the season.

and he had back spasms EVERY year?? w/ a sig name like McGrady, u sure dont know much about him.

Ok listen, the year before McGrady missed a whole lot of games due to back spasms. Now, why wouldn't you expect him to miss any due to back spasms again the next year? This was before he met the back specialist. It's just common sense, especially when they said "it could get worse".

And there you go again, saying "because he said it"! Please provide links. And sure I don't know much about him...

go find articles from the chron to start the season. i'm sure posters on here read that tmac's weight ballooned up to 250 during the offseason.

this "back" specialist said he'll never have another back spasm again unless he gets MURDERED physically. and tmac never had any problems w/ the jazz and they were physical. his shot was just pathetic.

again, he might still have back spasms, but he won't miss a lot of time if he did have another one. why? when he went to the back specialist for the first time after getting injured v. the wiz, he thought he would be out 3-4 more weeks. but this guy got him standing up straight after ONE 3hr session => bam play in 3 days. also, he fixed up his knees and legs, which were not in proportion in the first place and put mroe pressure on his back => recurring back spasms. now that guy works on his entire body monthly. so expect no more problems.

i expect tmac to not miss a lot of games for the next 2-3 yrs. if he does, it's probably due to soreness where his back gets tight like it did a few times last yr. but its a 1 game thing.

Yeh I read the same quotes too about Tracy himself saying all he did was sit on his butt and he gained weight. I thought i was the only who noticed he got fat earlier in the season, I mentioned it a couple of times. But if Tracy sticks to his training regimen this summer and does what he USUALLY does every summer then he will be right back to the old McGrady (though not quite as explosive). Here's to hoping he didnt learn any bad habits from last summer. :p

Why exactly did you put the McGrady nick?.. you're clearly not a fan.

With coach Adelman, were gonna see a 28 to maybe 30 point mcgrady. the offense should run through yao for the 1st half, but after that, mac should take over. were gonna see mac's passing ability shine in the motion offense.

i highly doubth that. 46% is alot you know. he will have a good season, and if he gets enough rest this summer, he'll get you around 40%. anyways, i wonder if rick aldment is going to move tracy to small forward, and battier to power foward. who knows.

I am a fan, a big fan. But it's getting to the point now that McGrady deserves the criticism he gets. He can be potentially great, but he just can't win. Tough love. I'm not gonna let some homerism blind me. I'm sure T-Mac himself wouldn't want fans who thinks he's the greatest of all-time when he hasn't won ANYTHING.

Really? It's nearly impossible for me to imagine an offensive minded coach looking at Battier, Hayes and Alston and the word "upgrade" not immediately flashing into their mind.

Cant argue with that...i dont think anyone here thinks tracy is the greatest of alltime or even the best player in the league. however you're points are valid..

I heard him say he was impressed with how well this team plays together and wants to build on that, not scuttle it.

Some still don't get that this is a team game.

thats why i said as long as Rafer is the starter, we wont go anywhere. I DO NOT believe the offense will get any better with the guys we have now
