If Pau Gasol can go to the Lakers for his little brother who had never played a NBA minute and guards who get about the same minutes as Luther Head and Chuck Hayes than why would this trade get veto'd?

Oh ya thats right, Because David Stern has created a league wide conspericy to make the Lakers and Celtics GREAT by the means of Outrages Trades~!

Oh wow. This is getting bad. Just sit him already. Who cares anymore?
This is like when Olajuwon faked his injury years ago ( yes I know he did...I knew the doctors)

But there's no treatment possible unless he knows what the problem is. Meanwhile, the Rockets doctors are telling him everything is fine and he can (and should?) play through the pain.

The problem is, McGrady still seems to be sure that something is wrong. And as MD_in_Training wrote a few posts up, McGrady seems to be set on finding a medical test or expert to verify his belief that there is in fact a problem.

IMO there seems to be three possibilities from here on out. One, McGrady will somehow be convinced by the Rockets doctors, get over his fear of further damaging his knee, and really play again.

Two, McGrady will remain unconvinced and continue to be unable to give his best for the rest of the season.

Three, McGrady will find a doctor who will provide him a satisfactory explanation of what is wrong with his knee, similar to what happened with his that chiropractor who fixed his back, and come back strong in the second half.

This could be a blessing in disguise. As long as Yao and Artest stay healthy our team could IMPROVE by developing some sense of chemistry and continuity.

The will he / won't he play every night will be OVER and players will know their roles.

Von Wafer was playing well while Tmac was out.

And since this move comes prior to the deadling Morey has time to add another player if he deems necessary.

As if another theory were needed, I have one.

Mcgrady wants the rockets doctors to allow him to take pain medication before each game. The rockets doctors have advised him not to use it that frequently and that he should feel better with rest and rehab. Mcgrady is frustrated that he is still not the same player and he is searching for doctors who will prescribe him pain medication because he performs better when he is on the medication.

I remember during a game in which mcgrady was playing well, he was interviewed at halftime and he immediately thanked his new doctor and gave a smile like he knew something everyone else didn't know. How do you go from playing poorly and feeling intense pain, to feeling great and playing great? Pain meds.

He had 2 shots in his knee already this year.....I think they can still do 2 more.

It is just an anti-inflammatory cortisone shot.

I get 4 a year in my foot to keep playing ball.....they last perfectly for about 8 weeks then the pain slowly ramps back up and I get another one.

If you're referring to the cortisone shots... I'm sure McGrady wants to increase his odds for an amputation.

No, this is not like that. Dream was ridiculouly underpaid then and Charlie Thomas "ponyed up" for his franchise to not look like a laughing-stock.

TMac's a max guy and if he's looking for his next contract now he's a complete jerk.

Frankly at this point, I think he's delusionally arrogant.

I think T-MAC just want to get away from the teams who have interest on him and break the incoming deal!!
