Hopefully to announce he is trading the Rockets medical staff and his own knees for cash considerations and a conditional second-round pick.

that structure damage doesn't developed overnight.
that three top doctors and other MRI exams are not likely to collectively missing the diagnosis.
that the wording of the original reporting was very strange and unclear (check out my original reaction to the news).

    McGrady misses game vs. Kings

    Associated Press
HOUSTON -- Rockets guard Tracy McGrady sat out Houston's game against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night and wanted to confer with a team doctor about his troublesome left knee.

McGrady had an MRI on Wednesday, two nights after he went 1-for-9 from the field in Houston's 124-112 loss in Milwaukee.

The seven-time All-Star has missed 17 games this season with soreness in the knee, the lingering effects of arthroscopic surgery last May. He visited renowned orthopedist James Andrews in December, after team doctor Tom Clanton said McGrady was suffering from general soreness in the knee.

Neither doctor found any structural damage in the knee, and the Rockets said before Wednesday's game that the MRI revealed "no change in his left knee from prior diagnosis."

The team said McGrady is "expected to seek additional medical opinions in the coming days" and that his status will be reevaluated after the All-Star break.

Exactly. Which is why I don't understand folks saying that T-Mac is faking this injury so he can get an MRI and not be traded. Did they say it was T-Mac who requested the MRI or what?

how the hell do u have a press conference during halftime, this is hilarous. maybe he is gona say im shutting it down for the season or something. i think this whack reporting has something to do with a trade, rockets are prolly trying to reassure hes fine and maybe are making him say im ok im just sore.
someone post a recap of the press conference, currently out of the country. thanks

Just because his MRI is fine doesn't mean that he might not have internal damage to the knee.I think he should just sit out for the rest of the season and get treatment in the off season.

Well he didnt play tonight, and today was the last game before the allstar week. So he'll be getting a full week of rest.
