why should we apologize?Injury is not an excuse for him to be lazy.He can't play well not because of the injury, it is because he played without guts.

That's right, possibly needing microfracture knee surgery is no excuse for poor play.

Either way, this is just more proof that he's done.

What I'm trying to understand, is why people are assuming that he doesn't have the heart to do this? You're basing this one... stuff he said this year? This guy's obviously hurting and tried to play through pain because of what? It takes quite a bit of heart to play if this prognosis is accurate. I think it's ridiculous that anyone can question his heart to rehab if all he's done this year is play through crazy pain in hopes of helping the team, whether he did or did not help.

On the other hand, I'm hoping it better not be about the money where the doctors are concerned. Is it Methodist now? I know this was changed a few years ago. It has been nothing but a disaster from what I've witnessed. So how much is Methodist paying the Rockets to be their primary physicians? Much more than who it was before, I could bet. I just thought that would raise some eyebrows as well that the Rockets are paid by their doctors, not the other way around?

how did he play without guts? he played this season without any cartilage in his left knee. do you know what it's like to run without a meniscus? go get an education.

Because the people on this board can play through any pain.

I'm surprised more people on this board are not in the NBA.

tmac has less wear and tear on him on most 11/12 year vets he hard played in toronto and he certainly played far less playoff games than other guys

and this is the first time he has ever had a knee issue

unless you were being sarcastic my meter is in the shop right now

DM needs to FIRE the doctors. Damn! How could this NOT be diagnosed until now? They had the opportunity to do it since last summer, then at the beginning of this season, then at the middle of this season, and then ....

With some of the top doctors around, they still somehow miss that? How can I trust my doctors now? They're all crooks.

Amare couldnt play through the pain and I think Dwayne Wade had the same operation that put him out through the whole season. Good try Tracy we will see what you got next year.

    Second round here we come.

On a side note, really sucks for McGrady and the Houston Rockets. There was so much anticipation and excitement this season, but it seems like every year we get stabbed with another dagger.

back problems at the age of 22-23 peaking in his 2nd year as a rockets? that alone should take a ton of toll on your body.

apparently, the back isn't a major part of your body i guess.

this sucks but its not as big of a blow as yao last year bc we dont have the chemistry we did last year, this injury doesnt derail our year i think we can still rebound from this bc we havent exactly been winning 22 games in a row this year frankly we suck this year

if he plays he can take wafers bench minutes, tmac 10 to 15 min and i think we can still make some noise

but i feel bad for tmac, if its true

this whole thing smells like a spin

Because for one he has Scoliosis. He's had multiple injuries, compound that with the he's been in the league 12 years and I fail to see why Tinman's post should of been sarcastic.

Everyone body isn't the same, anybody watching T-mac knows his body has went through more wear and tear than the normal 12 year player in the NBA.

It's not impossible for him to come back but things don't look to good if true.
