Man this sucks. I was really hoping for him to be in better shape in the playoffs...we really need him.

Otherwise all we are going to see if tons of horrible shots by Ron, and lots of ISO by Artest.

I agree, but we should stop over-reacting since nobody really knows what happened and will happen.

I owe Tmac an apology, guess he's been gutting it out, hard to play your best with a bum knee that needs surgery.

No, people were saying that he was 100% healthy and he was just too lazy to do what it took to perform. The bigger fault lies with the doctors, but fans constructed their own story lines, hurled insults and jumped to conclusions when it was clear that things did not add up. Remember that she-mac thread that went so over the top that it spurred some really angry/frustrated reactions from those of us who were still skeptical because things just didn't add up?

It's a life lesson for everyone. Don't assume you know what someone else is going through. Don't crucify someone when you've never actually walked in their shoes. It's a principle we all know but in reality we never learn to practice.

The rockets made him play hurt, there was a great deal of pressure upon to play, because the rocket doctors said the only way to strengthen his knee is to play through it.

Relax man, can't you see the fact that he is meeting with the press and is getting photo's taken of him? He is representing the Rox. All I'm sayin' is I wonder if he is trying to say something.

No he was just wearing shorts of his former team not a big deal.

It's not like he had Utah Jazz shorts.

Even though it is a pick of him wearing Utah Jazz shorts.

"Something is Rotten in the State of Denmark"

My favorite line from Hamlet and it is applicable here. I cannot believe that the doctors cleared him to play all these months. No they are coming up with this now so T-Mac doesn't have to play. Maybe for trade purposes next year. I don't know. But I am not apologizing to T-Mac. This just doesn't make sense. Flame me if you want but I just don't buy it.

Someone needs to be held responsible. Rockets' doctors and training staff need to be fired. Just look at all the injures we've had in recent years, and now THIS!

Everytime I did, people (DD, cough, cough) kept telling me t stop taking up for him. People kept saying t-slack,mclazy, or whatever name they wanted to call him. I knew he wasn't right from a very, very, close person. I didn't want to blow it up because he was feeling better, but the sharp pains were really getting to him. Also he didn't ever make a move that required jumping off that knee.

Who said some of the posters here aren't classless?

Celebrating a player's injury is truly classless, much less one of your max players.

People saying this team is better without him fail to understand that fact that he was apparently playing hurt the whole time. So...I guess you should more accurately say, the Rockets played better without a HURT McGrady.

Those saying it would be ironic that if the Rockets make it past the first round without McGrady they would think again, better off without him. OR if McGrady were actually healthy and playing like he did pre-injuries from last year, we'd be a TRUE threat not just for round 2 but for the championship.

Nope, people are just celebrating his pain in the hopes that Wafer will take us to the promised land? Get real.

First and foremost, I hope Mac the best. It's his health we are talking about. Next, I hope for the team's success.

I knew FROM DAY 1 his knee was not the same. He just didnt look right physically. Hopefully IF SOMETHING is really wrong with his knee, it doesnt have to be a major surgery.

    T-Mac is done. Too bad

Yao is going to have a shoulder surgery this summer. So, Yao is probably done too.

    One word - REBUILD.

Trade Yao and hopefully a medical retirement from T-Mac to get some cap space.

Dude, Tmac had recieved previous MRI of his left knee with different orthopedics looking into them. They all came to the conclusion that he can play through it. Now if he did have missing cartilage on his knee it would of been taken care of differently. I smell BS

Ok, sorry, I didn't catch your having said it. Well, at least I didn't call him any names. Jeez, how could so many doctors have been so wrong?

Ok, chron said he is not gonna play.

    But look at this.

McGrady underwent an MRI examination on Wednesday, but the Rockets have not released its results.
