A lot of people owe T-mac an apology, including me.

While we all thought it was mental, turns out it was really serious and he was right - something wasn't right with the knee.

The whole story that he could just "play through it" given by the Rockets medical staff was a bunch of bull.

Just terrible. Someone needs to be fired for this.

Guys, calm down. It's not official yet, let's wait for the final words.

One would think the local paper would be all over the story...guess not. Just typical of the Chronic's Rockets coverage.

not sure why we owe mcgrady an apology. he was playing hurt. we all knew it. if you're gonna decide to play hurt, and in the same process hurt your team, you deserve the criticism.

News of this nature usually has a good amount of credibility before being reported.

It's just insane. To think about it, this could be why he's had no athleticism but people have been saying he's just being lazy.

Sad news, yes I wanted him traded but I would not want for him to be injured especially what could be a career ending injury. TMac is older and he could retire. I hope Morey still has a something in mind and could the team qualify for an injury excemption??

Ok, this just went up from Feigen:

"Rockets guard Tracy McGrady has been ruled out of tonight’s game against the Sacramento Kings because of on-going problems with his left knee.

McGrady underwent an MRI examination on Wednesday, but the Rockets have not released its results.

McGrady has missed 16 games this season while trying to rehabilitate his knee after last May’s surgery. He played in 7 of 8 games since returning from two weeks of conditioning, missing one with a sprained ankle. He made 1 of 9 shots Monday in the loss in Milwaukee.

McGrady is averaging 15.6 points per game, making a career-low 38.8 percent of his shots."

    Anybody else find that interesting?

Maybe i am reading too into it, but why in the hell would you wear Orlando Magic gear when you are a rocket? I mean, if it was a normal dude, no big deal, but this guy represents the rockets. I aint hating on him, just wondering if this is part of the drama.

If he really is out for the season, I'm not as down as I was with Yao last year. We can still win a playoff series with Yao, Artest and a bunch of role players.

If this is true, this seriously sucks. So much hope that we'd make it out of the first round at the beginning of the season. "Most talented team on paper"....*sigh* :(

If you could say was a silver lining in all this, is at least it happened before the trade deadline.

i'm saying people were hating on tmac for playing with little or no effort. he's been playing with no meniscus all year long so now all of his haters look stupid.
