CFOS: (OKC Fan Forum) Have Zero Respect for the Rockets

A bunch of entitled fans from a one horse town.

Team belongs in Seattle. The city was handed Durant and Westbrook without any sort of growing process. Within three years they had a playoff team. I'm glad that they dislike the Rockets due to their disillusions of the incident.

I love Durant as a player and I used to enjoy watching their team before Fisher came and ruined everything but their fan base will truly be tested once Durant no longer is playing for them, he may retire a Thunder so it could be a while but I take what their fans say with a grain of salt until they have to endure constant losing. The ultimate would be if Seattle got a team and Durant went and joined that team.

 

Who cares what those methheads say.

 

Well, Houston fans don't have respect for all of the OKC fans that can't do anything except whine, blame, and complain constantly.

Seattle's decades of sweat & tears into the Sonics makes them deserving of the current success.

OKC who? OK, so their fans are loud (mostly because they're all squawking at every single whistle EVER blown, and they chant "ref you suck" when Kevin Durant has more free-throws than Asik while they're playing Hack-Asik... but I digress.)

Agree! Paying attention to what this poster says is not very wise!
Clearly he wants to divert the focus from almost being upset from
the #8 seed to name calling the Rockets organization. I get a feeling
that insecurities are getting the best of him/her. I'm not saying he's
a fool but you get a pretty clear picture when you hear one speak....

There's maybe 20 people that regularly post there. If you want to use that extremely small minority to generalize the entire fanbase, that's fine, but I wanted to point that out. It's a very low-traffic message board.

The OKC poster you referenced seems to be under the illusion that anybody gives a **** what he does or doesn't respect. He's a nobody.

OKC shouldn't even have an NBA team. It's a minor league city with very little to offer. Period. I put them on the same level as a Nashville, if not below.

They luckboxed their way into getting an NBA team, screwing a deserving city such as Seattle in the process, when by all rights OKC should be home to a D-League affiliate.

It's pretty telling that the Astros' AAA affiliate is located in OKC. That's about the level of sports franchises that city is worthy of.

these guys will convince themselves they won the trade for the rest of their lives.. in 10 years when they have no championship banners and no options in the free agent market because absolutely nobody wants to live in oklahoma city. their great fanbase will die. the next nba small market that can only bring in tier-2 role players as their big free agent acquisitions.. this is their only window once it closes its gonna close forever, and they know it..

 

Lol Im going to enjoy watching Z-Bo and Marc bully Ibaka and Perkins, especially Perkins. I'd take it they will have to resort to flopping more than ever now.
