Clemson will win despite Kelly Bryant playing like a chump. They have no chance to repeat with him as QB.

Most of us got our wish with Georgia crumbling against Auburn. Now the only way they can reach the CFP is to beat Alabama in the SEC title game, which won't happen.

The only thing left for me today is Notre Dame losing. I don't think they will.

The atmosphere for this one is going to be electric. I honestly don't really care who wins (although I will say that college football is more fun when Miami is good), but I'm really looking forward to this game.

Before the game, Brian Kelly mentioned that it would be important for his team to meet Miami's energy level, knowing that they'd come out with a ton of adrenaline, and then take advantage when that adrenaline subsides. Not only has ND not matched the energy level, but his team might be down 28-0 by the time the buzz dies down a little bit. The Irish just haven't done anything on either side of the ball to change momentum.

I'm not sure there is a better party going on tonight than the one going on at Hard Rock Stadium right now.

The old school Miami folks will probably say that it doesn't rock the way the old OB did, but it's hard to imagine any stadium being louder than that one has been in the first half.

What a dumb play call to blitz by Miss State. They should have doubled up Ridley just to make sure he didn't catch the ball.

In that situation, you cannot let the other team's best weapon beat you. That has been the story for 3 of Alabama's TDs.

I think it's safe to take Missouri's Barry Odom off the hot seat, at least for this offseason. They're blasting Tennessee, and a win would get them to 5-5. All they would need is a win against either Vanderbilt or Arkansas, both of which are very doable, to get into a bowl game.

Honestly, even if they had only gone 4-8 or 5-7, holding onto Odom was probably the right move. With as many openings as there will be this offseason, particularly in the SEC, Mizzou was going to be way down the pecking order. Better for them to give Odom a shot to keep building next year, or in a worst case scenario, be looking for a head coach in what seems like it would be a much better buyer's market for available coaching talent.

The comparison was made a bunch on Twitter tonight, but it really seems fitting that Miami did the turnover chain thing that really caught on in a big way on their way to moving into the national title picture while Tennessee, in the midst of a disastrous season, chose to make their turnover prop...a trash can.

Miss. State had Alabama on the ropes and just seemed to lose focus. After they got the lead it is like they ran out of gas and ideas about the same time. What a weak finish.
