Ah I see... TTU is really doing pretty good on defense though.

McCoy looks a bit shaky. Think they should keep running and get the ball to John Chiles as much as possible.

These refs have blown several calls early. There have been 2 late hits on both teams that were missed but on the quarterbacks and they botch that last play.

Didn't the NFL outlaw things like that after Peyton Manning spent almost all of 2004 trying that stuff?

Tech is dropping 7 into coverage, I expect Texas to come out running the ball to get them to put more defenders in the box and open up the passing game for Colt.

However, Colt has to stop over throwing......

I don't think he's overthrowing as much as he is throwing too high. I think that Wyoming altitude has had a lasting effect.

All of his passes have been high or behind the receiver. This aint like last weeks game. UT needs to impose their will at the line of scrimmage and take it to Tech with a running game. They do that and Tech's D will have to pack it in, opening up big play opportunities. Even if it's just a screen play, in which UT already runs 1/2 of their passes.

Don't question ItsMyFault. He watches more college football than anyone on this board.

I think he meant over thinking and forcing passes?

And when did I make that claim? Or is that just another one of your putdowns?

Did not like Tech's defense that series, had a couple of 3rd down and 5's but kept letting Shipley free and did not try jamming him for 7 yards.

Oh look, I gave you an excuse to question me instead of answering how throwing over receivers' heads isn't overthrowing.

    This time it's my fault.
