I cover the Red Raiders daily and its clear the Longhorns are going to blow them out... Tech starting Defensive end Rajon Henley out with injury... Starting Strong Safety Franklin Mitchem out.... The other starting defensive end Brandon Sharpe is apparently not in Austin and is not expected to play... This has 54-20 written all over it....
haven't followed tech this yr, but i know texas run game is sub par. hopefully colt lights em up for an emphatic heisman statement! hook em!
I can't believe Texas is only favored by 17. Take the over. Tech would have given Texas a better game had they and UT decided not to move the game date to September.
the only reason i want texas tech to win is to see the cougars in a bowl if they can beat texas tech after a a win to texas im sure they will get to go to one of the four bowls if they loose i dont think they will get into a bowl even if they go undefited but in the other hand if texas losses then they wont get into the championship game against florida the big 12 is so hard and the bcs prosses is so stupid
It'll be a fun game to watch. Not much is expected of Tech with this game, and we're missing three starters. We're supposed to lose, and lose hard. That said, if we do win again, I'll be laughing my ass off. I give us a 10% chance of doing that.
i give you a better chance than that. tech has a way of playing texas tough. however, with the injuries and the game being in austin, not much more.
If anyone is interested in keeping up with the game we talk about it nightly on our news at 6 and 10... and we have a pregame show from 6-7 tomorrow before the game if you want to check it out http://everythinglubbock.com/content/kamclive
I'm sitting at a bar in Austin now. Ready for Gameday and the largest crowd at home in UT history. Also posting from Blackberry sucks. Shoulda got the damn iPhone instead of the Tour.
http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=174464 Why does this deserve it's own thread if it's going to be a blow out as many people suggest?
UT in in a blowout dont have much hope for Tech on the road.. At home its a differnt story so maybe next year..
Yeah but they took the favorites to overtime which eventually lead to a game winning drive at San Jacinto.
