Yep. That was a dirty play for sure. And I only used it when someone brought up the Kansas game as a point that teams have off weeks. Your defense also cratered at the end as well but you still won which is what counts. Hope Petty is ok this week. Our starting RB got a concussion and has missed 3 weeks so far

The defense played poorly no doubt but we don't know how good this Tech QB is. He could turn out to be what his stats indicate...that he is pretty damn good. Playing against the air raid spread always worries me. Good defenses can look like trash on any given night. Reference Bama A&M the first couple of meetings or so.

One more game can make a huge difference, but it looks like TCU for the final four. Doesn't seem fair to Baylor, but I can see the logic for TCU going above them. I think there should be a sweet sixteen playoff system so a "spoiler" can get in the mix. This year, does it really matter? Alabama is going to crush any and everyone. They have NFL talent year in and year out.

I disagree. Ohio State will be in first if they win impressively. Baylor will jump TCU if they win impressively.

TCU will be sitting at 4 tomorrow night, imo.

I think G. Tech has a legitimate shot at toppling FSU this week...and if it happens then all this back and forth between TCU and BU alums will all be for naught.

Just fingers crossed we'd slide into the #3 position. Although Oregon isn't exactly chopped liver either.

Agreed. No way OSU and Baylor jump TCU this week given last week's games.

And again, I think Baylor needs to beat Kansas State in more impressive fashion (i.e. > 21 points) than TCU did. And Baylor is certainly capable of doing so. Should be a wild atmosphere with CGD in Waco.

I also think it's important for Baylor to be #5 tomorrow night. If TCU, Baylor, and OSU all win, could Baylor really jump from #6 to #4? I know they'd be adding a top-10 W but it's pretty clear to me the committee is holding Baylor's OOC schedule against them. Why else would they still be behind TCU?

This is hilarious and stupid. The Big12 has spent the whole last few years advertising how they have "one true champion" because all the teams play each other. They even have a whole website devoted to it:

    http://www.onetruechampion.org/

    But now they say this:

    http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/11964184/big-12-present-tcu-baylor-co-champions

The Big 12 would officially leave the TCU-Baylor debate in the hands of the College Football Playoff selection committee, commissioner Bob Bowlsby said in a teleconference on Monday.

Should No. 5 TCU and No. 7 Baylor both win Saturday and each finish the season 11-1, Bowlsby said the league would inform the 12-member selection committee it has co-champions, in spite of Baylor's 61-58 win over TCU on Oct. 11.

    ...

"The only reason we apply the tiebreaker later on is because we have to, we're the ones who designate who goes into one of those host bowls," Bowlsby said. "In the case of the College Football Playoff, they're the ones who designate who goes into those games."

"We wouldn't be designating our champion," he said. "We would be designating our representative to the host bowl."

Baylor will pass TCU if they beat K State IMO. But Florida State or Ohio State need to lose or I bet Baylor is 5 and TCU is 6.

This would be kind of insane if that's the case - but I agree it's possible. If they think TCU is #6, then Baylor would have the best win of all the top 6 teams. None of Alabama, OSU, FSU, or Oregon would have a win over anyone higher than TCU.

I think both OSU and FSU lose.

Unless Stave melts down, OSU will lose.

FSU is destined to make the playoff even though they clearly aren't a top 4 team. I hope they get Oregon in the opening round and trail 30-0 after the 1st quarter.

That will be interesting to see how that aspect is handled by the committee.

I can't see the logic of TCU going in ahead of a team they lost to, if they have the same record. They had their chance to show they were a better team than Baylor. They lost.

Mariota would probably get hurt and FSU would fluke itself into a 31-30 win.

I'll be at the game and will finally get to see the stadium in person. Can't wait.

Message me if anyone else will be there so we can link up before the game.

Reeks of desperation. Can't imagine the committee looking to fondly at this move by Baylor.
