Here's a list of the teams that were better than Texas this year at one point (according to the internets): OU, Miami, USC, Oregon, Bama, Florida, Cincy, Pitt, UH, TCU I may have left some off.
If TCU loses to Boise tomorrow... everyone except Bama will be shut out of the conv. and then Texas can have its mark on Bama on January 7th.
Did anyone see this earlier today? One of the best catches I've ever seen. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/k0robHrmfa8&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/k0robHrmfa8&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Yeah I saw that... It was incredible... Pass was off but great catch. Arkansas and East Carolina really battling, good game now in the 4th.
I was at this game, sitting in the corner of the stadium at the end where the kid missed all four of his field goals. First off, it was cold as balls in that stadium. Never been that cold in my life. It was never above freezing and the wind really kicked up towards the end. Second off, Skip Holtz, why the hell did you choose to play at that end of the field after your kicker had missed his previous two attempts at that end? Third off, I'm glad the Razorbacks got the W, but that has to be one of the least deserving wins a team has ever achieved. 0 for 13 on 3rd down conversions. I have to admit, it was great seeing how devastated the ECU fans were after that game.
Can't wait for the Junior Heavywight Title fight between Boise and TCU. The winner is going to look like a fool on Sportscenter demanding a shot at the winner of Bama-Texas. BTW anyone still doubt the dominance of SEC and Big 12? Go ask Cincy or Arizona, how it feels to get whooped in lob sided scores by the runner ups of the SEC and Big 12?
And MWC runner up put a beatdown on a better team than Arizona. I don't think the MWC has to take a backseat to the B12 at all based on their bowl performances thus far. Unfortunately, a TCU win over Boise won't prove much because it's hard to say how good Boise really is.. which is why everyone wanted to see TCU vs. Florida.
Looking forward to seeing if the Hawkeyes can do damage in this game... gonna be tough to stop GT's running game... should be an awesome orange bowl though.
I think the Hawkeyes could show their resilience in this game as they have all year when it comes to being down... I'm thinking the magic will continue... but I see GA tech having their way on the offensive end.
let's goooooooooooooooo triple option! A beautiful thing when it's being executed. And that 1 time this year that it wasn't (Miami)...MAN was it ugly
