Have folks been having trouble with the Netflix streaming? Last two days it will show a few shows the stop streaming at 25%. Annoying...
It's actually a good show if you can deal with the teenage stuff. Season two goes way off track though, getting weird.
I wonder if they have different writers for season 2 because it is a little strange. But I guess eventually they would see what is in the mountain.
I might be a little late to the party but.... After finishing season 1 of House of Cards, I have decided it is a good show, nay, a great show. Anyone who has Netflix and hasn't watched the show should get to it ASAP.
#soon Depends on how busy the wife and I get and if Rockets games get in the way. We watched season 1 in 2-3 episode bunches spread out a week or two apart. I imagine season 2 will go the same. I know nothing about the show in season 2: what happens or what anyone thinks about it, and will probably check out of this thread after this post to avoid any potential spoilers. Not that I think you're going to spoil anything, but one can't be too careful.
Season 2 gets pretty out of control relatively quickly. Also, I'm a little more than halfway through Season 1 of Mad Men, and I'm finding it kind of slow. Does it pick up pace in its storyline anytime soon, or is this the feel of the show throughout its duration? I really WANT to like it, but compared to Breaking Bad and House of Cards, I'm finding it rather dull.
Just keep watching... It will be one of those shows that is a must watch. It isn't really like a BB or Wire or Sopranos. It is a category to itself.
So, did everyone like Snowpiercer? I went into the movie thinking it was going to be epic on top of epic...but for me, it really wasn't. It was a great 2 hours or so, but I didn't think it warranted something like a 95% from RT.
Trying to check it out tonight. Anyway... The Colony? Straight garbage. Shocked at how garbage that got after the first fifteen minutes. Reminded me of that John Carpenter movie on Mars.
95% just means that 95% thought it was better than average. You would also contribute towards that 95% considering you thought it was great, so that's how a high score like that would be given.
I was surprised how epic it was actually. Originally I thought, how can a train sustain life for that long, that doesn't sound realistic. But once the story went on and it made it a little more believable. I had a great time watching it, would contribute to the 95% fresh rating.
