heh...I played Little League in the Deepwater fields....is that in the same area? I have never heard of Dabbs...but the fields I played at had a couple of schoools right next to them....think one of them were called Deepwater Elementary.

and in answer to the unasked question from kamkamkam's post....I dont know if I will play..I might just sit off to the side with Behad and drink beer and laugh at you fools running around like chickens with your heads cut off...:D ;)

Deepwater is a little further into the Pasadena area, but it is still Deer Park school district. That's about a 10 minute drive from where I'm at...

I wasnt quite within walking distance(by todays standards)...I did bike to it fairly often...I grewup just off of South street in the Tanglebriar area...(thornwood, cedarcest, tanglebriar, etc)

No surprise we both went to SJC growing up in that area....its where poor white boys go that cant afford a real college..;)

Heck, I'd be down if it's not too far away! I've only really met andymoon. You guys are an interesting bunch. Let's face it, the Rockets freaking rule and we're the most hardcore Rox fans there are, for better or worse.

Makayla Willits I think her last name was? Yeah, I sort of knew her. I would be surprised if she remembered me. We had a few classes together. Was she in orchestra?

If no other places work, I live a few blocks from Clear Lake Intermediate at the corner of El Dorado and El Camino Real. We could go play and then catch the Rox game (against the Bobcats) at my house, play Halo2 or ESPN, or even play poker.

Not as far as League City, but I know Clear Lake is the boonies to some of you.

Ha, yep that's her. Small world.

She was in band, not orchestra.

Hey Clear Lake is perfect for me andy...of course I only live about 10-15 minutes away!

Speaking of.....have you eaten at a place out there called Don Pico's on Bay Area? My brother keeps telling me it is really good so we're probably going to try it this week.

I rather not, but hey, if the game is there, I got to go.

Give out the address. I guess we have settled on the location.

Nomar says he likes that prop. I guess everybody else does too. If you like it press 2, if you don't press 3.
    Actually, don't do that.

December 18th, 2004 at 2PM, unless you want to pick a different
    time.

There is always that park near downtown in between Memorial, and Allen Parkway near Waugh. It's by the YWCA. They have a basketball court also incase we get an itchy finger and want to shoot hoops.

I will post again and count the RSVP.

    Yup!

It is really good, but our favorite lately is a new (been there about 18 months) place called Los Ramirez. It is a block south of Bay Area on El Camino Real in the old Oriental Gourmet building. If you want to go, let me know and you can stop by and get one of the dozens of $5 off coupons I have (they have them on the back of Kroger's receipts).

Clear Lake Intermediate is on the northeast corner of El Dorado and El Camino Real. From I-45, exit El Dorado and take a left. You will pass four lights (the fourth is Highway 3, it is about a mile) and cross the railroad tracks. The next light is El Camino Real. You can take a left and park in the circle driveway (this way is shorter and easier) or go through the light, u-turn at the next light, and park in the parking lot that is right next to the football field.

Ignore steps 1-5 and take the El Dorado exit as shown in the Mapquest link.

Major Malcontent (Questionable) Heel Spur...Game Time Decision

If the Clutch City All Stars are forced to go without Major they will miss some size...but they will almost certainly gain a helluva lot of athleticism

A word of warning...if you do this on a school football field, you'll have to hide the beer, or not drink any till you are done.

I'm working nights on the 18th, but if you do this in Clear Lake, I'll be there to watch till it's time for me to go to work.
