So to replicate the results independently, are we going to need to build a second bad-ass particle accelerator or just let another team use the facilities?

An object with mass is different than a person. It seems you could maybe send a packet of information, such as an email, faster than the speed of light - thus sending it back in time.

You can't send information faster than light.

Dang, I don't pretend to be a fan of DaDa, but this personal stuff is out of control. Jab at him for his crappy posting or his rantings or his crazy obsession with bad players, etc. But all these personal insults are kind of out of whack.

Repped, these people here act kinda childish. You should never go down to this low level when you don't like someone, it's plain immature.

Do you know what this means? It means there's no one to send a message warning us that the 2012 hype is real!

    Isn't that string theory?

Einstein can be wrong, after all what we develop is always based on theories, it might be wrong theories, but it is right to an extend. Those you mentioned are not experiments, those are applications, or just more theories based on older theories and designs based on theories.

I've always wondered, if there are some other planet with intelligent beings, they might use wind as their backbone to their technology, like how we use electricity...or maybe they use water.. or solar, maybe they have some sorta communication tool(internet) that goes through plants....

Isnt fiber optical signals traveling at speed of light in theory?
you can never send an email faster than speed of light, screw the email servers!

Maybe we have - but we just haven't yet built the device that can receive those signals yet.

Think of a radio station sending a broadcast - if you don't have a radio, you can't hear the broadcast, can you?

Perhaps our future society has found a way to send signals back in time to us and has been sending those signals, but we haven't build a neutrino radio to receive the signals?

Then again, maybe our future selves are specifically NOT sending signals back to us because they know that if we alter events based on their signal, we alter the future timeline in ways that can't be predicted. We might make changes that prevent our future selves from ever being created.
