    Robin Lopez
    Chris Kaman

Are probably the only centers "we" can acquire through trade. A lot of people are saying Nene and Anderson Varejao but I don't really think the Rockets got a chance at acquiring them. The Cavs just lost their most valuable player LeBron James and are in a rebuilding phase right now and the Nuggets are about to lose their most valuable player Carmelo so I don't really see them trading their centers. The excuse of them trading one of their most valuable players after their star player for "cap relief" still won't cut it. Unless it's a bigman-for-bigman trade it's not going to happen, and seeing the fact that the Rockets really don't even have a bigman just makes the trade all the more unpromising. If the Rockets decided to trade one of our more valuable assets for example Aaron Brooks, Kyle Lowry, etc. it might happen, but isn't the first rule in trading is to not trade big for small? So yeah, to what I see the only players which could become a Rocket is either Robin Lopez because or Gortat going to the Suns and also because of Channing Fryes shooting range and Chris Kaman, because of the chemistry the Clippers developed from DeAndre Jordan and their interests in making him their future center.

To me trading him for Courtney Lee was a bad move. Battier even told the press that he really didn't care if he started or not. I actually really liked Ariza with his defense. He really turned into another Shane Battier with his defense and the occasional 3 pointer. Seriously I didn't see the need for the trade.

I'm not saying we WOULD or SHOULD go after Hibbert, but he might be available. For some reason he's hit a wall this year after showing some early promise. Don't know if it's Jim O'Brien's rotations, which make Adelman's rotations look genius by comparison, or something else going on between the kid's ears, or if he had trouble sustaining that high level of play.

But he's a big body, he can pass, he can block shots and score a bit.

Why is emeka not a good fit for the hornets if they're trying to keep paul? They're a top 5 defense and well on their way to the playoffs. Now all of a sudden they're going to give up okefor for what? Get real!
